Really stunning bit of kit
Fabulous field of vision and superb video quality. Quite accurately picks up the number plates of passing cars.

Just be careful charging in the rain for long hours
I have the camera mounted to my motorbike helmet with a charging cable using the record while carging feature. After riding in the rain for 8 hours or something water must have got in and now charging is problematic. Everything else is great and the app is good for easy watching back observations

Frozen Video & No Sound
First the video froze and then no sound. Both within an hour. Returned.

Compact
It needs a SD card to run. Just charging up the battery without a card doesn't work.

Better Than Most
A bit more expensive than some but it does what it claims to do. There are however some issues with the instructions and set up. A few emails with the seller (they were very good) and I set up the camera properly.1. You don't need to format the SD card unless you want to clear the card of other stuff.2. To get the right date/time stamp when you playback on a PC you first have to set up the Phone app.3. Follow the instructions to get the phone app. You must then switch on the camera. To use it, however you must switch off any VPN on your phone.4. You may need to go to settings on your phone and select Network K5.5. It will then connect. The front screen will have a 'Preview' button.6. Select 'Preview', you will get a live feed from the camera and the camera will be recording, press the record button to stop recording. Go back to the front page and select settings at the bottom of the screen.7. Select the correct time zone and save (Save button may by in Chinese, 2nd from bottom).8. Now when you playback on a PC the Date/Time code will be correct.Depending on your PC media player you may not get sound, if you really want sound you will have to try a different player. Sound on the phone app is OK but not brilliant. The battery lasts 2 to 3 hours if you are lucky but if you plug in an external power supply it records as soon as you plug in.

Mostly connects to app
Camera is brilliant, small, light and can fit anywhere, after trying to connect to my phone I've only managed to connect twice out of multiple attempts, given up now and just view the footage on my laptop. Update, is connecting most of the time now, bit fiddly but the footage is so good its worth it

Impressed
I've been using this DVR for a week now and I'm very happy with it. The recorder, brackets and holders all appear to be made from high quality materials and the DVR has a real solid feel to it. Installing the app and use of the software on my iPhone has been very straight forward. A preview function helps position the recorder where you need it. Transferring recordings from the DVR to my smart phone via the built in Wi-Fi (data free) is very fast. The playback footage is clear without any signs of camera shake. Riding directly into the sun does not adversely affect the picture quality. Playback will sometimes freeze for a few seconds. However, an on-screen message will prompt you to download the file to your smart phone for smoother operation. However, it's not normally necessary. The microphone seems good, but there is wind noise above 60km/h, depending on conditions. The blue and red LED lights are visible under most lighting conditions. A flashing red LED assures you that the DVR is on and recording. The DVR will vibrate when you activate on/off/Wi-Fi/recharge etc. Unwanted recordings are wiped automatically, or you can save footage to the micro-SD (purchased separately) or download to your smart phone. You can operate the DVR with the rechargeable battery (allow about 90 minutes for full recharge with a standard charger) or with a USB-A to USB-C cable if your motorbike has a USB port. THE DVR starts recording automatically when turned on, unless you are using a USB cable.I ride my motorbike every day and all year round for work. I can leave the handlebar bracket on the bike permanently and it only takes a few seconds to attach or remove the DVR before and after each ride. You could also swap the DVR from handlebar bracket to m/c helmet to bicycle helmet without too much fuss. The DVR gives me peace of mind should I be involved in a traffic incident. It would also be good for reliving recreational rides in scenic countryside. Licence plates are clear for vehicles directly in front of you. A higher resolution would be good for the licence plates of vehicles further away. That would be my only criticism of a product which is otherwise very enjoyable to use. I'm impressed with its design, build quality and ease of use.
