Royal Albert Candy Collection Vintage Mug, 10.5 oz, Love Lilac

First off, the top photo is a reasonable representation of the color of this beautiful cup, but the bottom photo, the one with the hand holding the cup, is very blue/green, and is NOT the true color of the cup.That aside, this is a wonderful cup for an 8oz. cup of tea. The workmanship is first class, it keeps the tea warm, is elegant to hold, and easy to wash up. I don't buy many things like this, but this cup caught my eye and I'm really happy I splurged and bought it.The box it comes in is suitable for gifting, and it's packed in such a way that it should arrive without breakage.I don't buy many things like this, but this cup caught my eye, and I'm really happy I splurged and bought it.

This cup is just so beautiful! The quality is very fine, it's china but not too delicate and will definitely stand up to a lot of use (yes, I dropped it already, and it was fine, even the handle). It has a lovely rounded shape, looks actually even prettier than the picture. It holds a full 12 oz. filled to the brim---the 10.5 listed would be the safe amount for your tea! This would be a great gift for a bunny lover, or anyone who loves pretty pretty things. The colors are cheery and bright, very classic with an eye-popping twist of fun.

I love Royal Albert China. I gave this same style cup to my mother as a part of her Christmas gift last year and she asked for another one this year (different pattern). The cups are are delicate but sturdy and great for everyday use. The one I bought her last year she uses almost everyday and the pattern is just as vibrant as the day I bought it. The one I just bought is just as beautiful and with every penny. It came prime shipping arrived when it said it would and the Royal Albert box was packed securely with bubble wrap inside the amazon box.

This is the perfect tea cup when you need a larger cup of tea. Not a dainty sized cup not a heavy mug. Really the perfect best of both worlds.

I like the mug, looks pretty; however, the colors are not bright and vibrant as seen in the Amazon listing pictures. Colors looks very soft.

The mug is beautiful, one of the nicest designs I have ever seen. It's also bigger than I thought it would be, which is a plus. The reason I didn't give it a 5 is because I ordered 2, but when they came, one didn't have the little flower at the bottom of the cup. The other one did. So I returned the defective one & re-ordered a replacement, which hopefully will be perfect when it arrives.UPDATE: I revised this review to 5 stars because I received the replacement and it was perfect.

Absolutely gorgeous piece of Royal Albert, with beautiful pink striping. Came well packaged and would be a perfect gift for a friend or loved one who enjoys hot beverages.

What a lovely gift. Pretty enough to use for things other than tea or coffee, can be kept on your vanity for cotton swabs or cotton balls... comes nicely packaged for a gift, beautiful gift box. Good to keep one on hand when a nice friend gift is needed, works for all ages...
