I was a little concerned after reading reviews about the wheels pulling the tablecloth, but I found that this crumb sweeper does a nice job of removing crumbs. The wheels hug the tablecloth, which helps ensure crumbs are picked up neatly. My four-year-old can use it with no trouble, so in my book that qualifies as "good product."

Yes, it is difficult to reach a state of perfection, even if that means that something is a perfect example of an ill-conceived and ill-executed piece of crap.This crumb sweeper consists of three bristled rollers, one larger and two smaller ones that counter-rotate to produce the desired sweeping action.On the very first try, one of the small rollers disengaged. Repeated attempts to sweep up crumbs after reinstalling the small roller resulted in the same thing. The damned thing just falls apart.I bought this piece of junk because of the rave reviews it had. Either they were all shills, or I got the lemon of lemons.The best thing to do is take this piece of crap off the market and refund money to all purchasers.I gave this one star because there is no choice for zero stars.

Ah, so easy to sweep up crumbs, small dirt. No batteries, no winding up, no power but the human hand makes it work. I use is on my short pile carpet to pick up little bits of dirt.

I bought this product for a friend who has one hand after she complained about the hassle of cleaning crumbs. Whereas most people might use one hand to brush crumbs off a surface into their other hand to throw away, she just brushed crumbs on the floor and then swept. She was so excited to get this little gadget! She says it works well, and she's never reported damage to the surfaces on which she uses it. Obviously stuff like this was invented for convenience, but to some people, it's so much more than that.

This crumber has stiff wheels that do not turn easily. It will drag and catch the table cloth if you do not use your other hand to hold the table cloth steady in place. It does an effective job of sweeping up even the smallest particles, though. Overall, we do not use this one as much as another crumber we have that glides easily without catching the cloth.

This crumb sweeper may or may not work on a bare table; I can't address that. I use a polyester microfiber tablecloth for everyday, and the sweeper leaves almost all of the crumbs. In fact, I suspect that the brushes create static electricity that holds the crumbs on the cloth, but that's just a theory. Also, I have to place a hand on the cloth to hold it, then sweep away from my hand in order to keep the tablecloth from bunching up. One more thing: The cover is a friction fit, but on mine there was no friction, so it lifted right off even when my intent was to pick up the sweeper. I am returning this item.

Kids love to see the crumbs swept up, great between courses.
