I bought them for one of the toilets in my house that was flushed at least three times a day. Each one lasted about six months before the "clean" smell went away. By clean I mean a bleach or chlorine smell after each flush. It's not an overpowering smell, but you can tell it's still working. This product keeps the bowl portion very clean with minimal brushing once in a while. The installation is very simple. Just pull off the old tubes and install the new tubes already connected to the cleaning container and hang it inside of the toilet tank. No tools needed. Just be careful not to break the internal stuff in your toilet. I just bought four more of these for all of the toilets in my house. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Yes, they really work *by R***B on December 15, 2024* These thing are easy to install and reduce the amount of toilet cleaning you will have to do. It lasted around three months. I like this product. It works to keep my toilets clean. I am the type of person that HATES to clean the toilet as I have a very high sense of the aesthetic. I do not even like the ‘look’ of a toilet and had found a specialty designer toilet I was thinking about saving up for that did not look like a toilet at all but some sort of modern stone sculpture. As I thought more about doing that, I realized it was ridiculous. I have perfectly good porcelain toilets. So, instead of buying another toilet and ripping out the old one, which would have been wasteful, I fixed it myself for myself. I got specialty gold spray paint and did a modern decorative design on my toilet transforming it into something I do not cringe to look at. I painted my toilet lid entirely and did a modern art look in my toilet bowl with the paint. I also painted the handle and dappled the outside a bit. It looks great. On top of my toilet I have one of my Country French style casserole pieces with a lid where I place my nice looking, super soft, scented with essential oils, washable menstrual liners in I use to reduce the amount of waste that disposable menstrual pads produce.But what did I do about cleaning my toilet? My spouse and I do not like cleaning toilets of course. Yet, I felt it was abusive and unethical to hire a ‘maid’ to clean our house as that job does not help the self esteem and is degrading and also insulting to us as we are not crippled and can tend to our own house/home. I searched for a solution that would allow me to so easily keep my toilet sparkling without getting a maid and rarely touching it with a rag, except once in a while dusting it to keep its outside shine.
