Good on storyline
I'm not good in words, so I don't like that I have to say something to leave my ranking this step .

Finally!
This was super satisfying to read, and most of my hopes for this came true.SPOILERS:I wish Rugrat and Eric had each found a special someone. I like Rugrat with Raquel and I was kind of shipping Eric with Rosca but that could just be the romantic in me. I didn't understand why Rugrat and Raquel wouldn't have worked out they're both independent and can still each do their own thing and then visit each other regularly just like Blaze and Elise right?I miss Gilly- her death was NOT okay and every time Eric thinks of her or mentions her I am stabbed in the heart. However, the ending was super satisfying. The author does a great job of testing Alva's power and making the battle realistic and devastating. I feel like one of the main themes of this series is loss in war, and how even though fighting is necessary- the cost is high. He does a great job of tempering the power of Alva so it doesn't seem like an OP fight- but yet the Alvans still spank the United Sect Army and The Black Phoenix Clan.P.S. Thank you Michael for giving us Mistress Mercy's final ending. I would have liked for her to get whipped with her own stupid whip- but Domonos killing her was satisfying enough.

Mixed feelings about it
I ended up enjoying book 6.5, but it took quite a while to get to a point in it where I felt like it was on par with previous books in the series. It was definitely worth reading, and I am looking forward to book 7 and seeing where things go from here. That said however...I’ve been a fan of the series since I found it, and really enjoyed the previous books, so I was pretty excited to see this one come available. For roughly the first half of book 6.5 however, I really was not enjoying it. Things felt extremely disjointed and a lot was extremely repetitive. A number of times I felt lost as to who was supposed to be speaking and what kind of knowledge they were supposed to have, because it didn’t seem to fit. Eric and Rugrat spoke a lot through out the book as if they were experts on and lifelong denizens of the Ten Realms, rather than like they were still learning the complexities of their new reality. I know they are no longer new to the Ten Realms, but it felt like they too knowledgeable of things all of the sudden, and were repeating taking about it as if to educate the reader, rather than being in organic conversations with the other characters. The book picked up significantly after around the first half, and it felt a lot more like the previous books, with a lot more going on, picking up on where things left off previously and the battles they have had coming, etc.If you are a fan of the series, definitely read it so you are ready for book 7, but you may have to power through quite a bit before it feels like it was worth it. Normally this would have been a 1-2 day read for me at most, but it took me around a week to get myself to stick to it and get all the way through it, with the majority of that time being for the first half or so of the book.

Cruel cruel world
I have to say that the book is well done. It does kind of seem like we are seeing more of everyone else involved with Alva as opposed to our two favorites, Erik and Rugrat. I would hope that there is more of them so that we can really see what they're capable of, as it seems like their progression is very slow in some aspects that don't match with others .**spoiler alert** mainly referring to the speed of Rugrat's progression taking 4 hrs to reach liquid core and then Erik is tempering for months to advance using new methods that are supposed to increase his progression speed down to weeks. maybe this will all make sense in the next book. Also mildly confused because it seems as if some things are being mixed up possibly, like characters going to certain realms but then later on they're not at that realm in they're at a lower one. It also seems as if Eric and Rugrat are making a decision that has already been made. I could be wrong because this book was split into two parts but if I remember correctly they had already made the decision to alter their position so that they would be able to explore and do what they love which is fight and advance. This was the reason that they had decided to head up to the sixth Realm, if I remember correctly. I do understand that they're making a decision that's a bit deeper I'm just going to do their own thing and making it official. But I do think that it is kind of repetitive. Hopefully side events don't get dragged out too much and take away from us really seeing what our main characters get up to. That would be my only pet peeve, or gripe, and that we don't get enough of the dynamic duo. You should probably take the handful of pages that involve them and it would amount to maybe 10% of the book. Though the book is very well done, I would like to see more of them. I am looking forward to the next book and hopefully it comes out sooner than these last two did. But I won't be too hard in that aspect since this was a bigger book

fun read. not much to do with the sixth realm
fun read. not much to do with the sixth realm. Lowe realm stuff continues. Focus again strongly on the million side characters but still an ok read.

Great!
Amazing book, I read the hole saga in a month, couldn’t stop reading. Anxious to discover the seventh realm and the new adventures.

another great installment of the series
the series is still going strong. the writing isn't always too polished and tells rather than showing a lot of different details that make some passages clunkier, but that's pretty marginal compared to the quality of the story, which is the only isekai I've read that manages to balance cultivation, magic and tech cohesively

Such a good book
I hope I can convince you to read this whole series because all the books including this one are absolutely fantastic and you have to read it, they’ll amaze you!

Another good installment
Minor quibbles with the prose (he rode down the road and similar cadence issues and a few problems with word order being a bit confusing) but the story is great, the world is interesting and the characters keep getting more engaging. This seemed slightly slower than the others, at about 60% of my way through I was thinking to myself that I might not get the big battle that is being led up to for most of the book but all come together in the last quarter. Liking the additional characters Erik and Rugrat have picked up along the way becoming heroes in their own right. This story felt a little light of Erik and Rugrat shenanigans tbh but the author seems to be setting up a return of the brothers in arms adventures from the earlier books as they move up the realms.10/10 will reread at some point. And get the audiobook. And sign a petition for a movie (not by hollyweird or Netflix) to be made.
