Camera is well made and works as described. Install was straight forward but a little tedious running the wires from the rear to the radio in the dashboard and hooking up to the backup light BUT all cameras will have these install opportunities. I would buy again

The video resolution is much better than my other car cameras and the viewing angle is much better too. Had to modify mounting bracket because my license plate light is in the middle and so is the camera

The design of this camera is excellent, it fits seemless behind the license plate, the lights are super bright, and the wiring was very simple. The short fall is in the quality of the image. As you can see from the photos, there’s no way it can be anymore than 480 pixels. I can’t complain too much as going from a car having no backup camera, to now having the feature, I love it. Just wish the quality was atleast 720.

This is a great little set up. It looks great on the screen of my radio. Both day and night. I am very impressed.

Backing up is a lot safer now.

I have an older Jeep that does not have a back up cam. If you know Jeeps they can be hard to back up with the spare tire. There are other cams that are more money and a bit more factory finished but this was what I was looking for. I did not want to mount it on the license plate but wanted the bracket to mount under the bumper. Worked like a charm. The biggest issue is finding power in the back of the car. Jeep has it easily to find. Then splice into the back up lights and it work. I have an aftermarket stereo which also made it easier. Beat money I spent in a while.

I have had the camera a week. I have three issues with it so far, and I will futz around with it again this weekend, but at this point I'm sending it back. 1) when backing up it connects to the head unit and then drops the video signal and this is very inconsistent. 2) when it does work the night vision is horrible. Its extremely cloudy and I think the license plate lights which are recessed and lower are messing with the image, which I find very odd. 3) The day image is OK but cloudy I was expecting way better image quality. I'm going to check all of the wiring etc. But right now I'm very disappointed in the quality of the image for an HD camera and what you get vs. what is advertised.Update: I checked all of the wiring and confirmed everything was snug nothing was rubbing shorting etc. After about a day the image has stabilized and is consistent. I have not had loss of signal or blurred images. I will update this if that changes. After a couple weeks of headaches it is a decent camera and image for the price.

I like having a back up camera to make hitching up to trailers easy. Most times the video rca cable is not long enough for my truck which happens to be a crew cab long bed 4x4 dually F350. This cable is alot longer then I needed. So routing it along the frame and engine compartment is a breeze. No need to use 2 cables. The LED lights on this camera are Bright! Plenty of light at night to see. The picture quality is good. The ability to have or not have the guide lines on the screen is a nice feature. Install is very straight forward. I'm using this camera with a CTS2 monitor. If you hook it up to your stereo head unit the picture quality will be even better. I don't have that style head unit. Over all this is the best back up camera for the money that I've used.
