Nice cable
Very flexible and sturdy. I like the texture compared to the braided, plastic cables I have for other headphones.

Pleasantly surprised!
I'm one of those types that likes to tease people that think they can hear the difference between a cable but dang it, I heard a difference with this new cable on my sundaras. I would definitely suggest a balanced cable. The sound is punchier a little more clear and definitely feels much wider and expansive. I assume this is because of the very Crystal Clear Channel separation. I never thought this would make it sound better but it's definitely a difference over the stock cable and for the price it's still worth the upgrade because of the nice soft cable. I probably would have preferred a little bit more length like a foot and it would have been nice if they color coded the plug but whatever. I guess once it's in it's in. And I will tell you one thing, I'm definitely not going to start auditioning different cables. I'm done. I'm not interested in measuring nanofractions of clarity :P

Mislabeled L/R ends
For the 2.5mm balanced -> 3.5mm L/R version of this product, the L and R markings are swapped. For a solid 2 weeks, I was left wondering why I kept hearing positions of sounds in games flipped 180 degrees. After playing with the L/R sliders in the mixer app, I figured out why.Simply switching the headphone side the plugs connect to fixes this issue, as another reviewer mentions. No issues after. Docking a star for this very confusing fault. Because one day, I'll forget about the mislabeled plugs, and put it back to the way it's labeled, then be confused why everything sounds weird. While not my favorite material or feel of cabling, it's certainly a huge improvement to the included cables for the HiFiMan Sundaras. Those things are thick, annoying, and painful to deal with. There's minimal microphonics in the cabling, and I can look left and right in a 120-degree cone without hearing the cable rubbing against my clothes. I haven't noticed any changes in audio quality.Overally, I'm happy with it for the price, and will recommend it to anyone looking for budget cables for Sundaras.

Balanced makes music way more detailed/better
I kept reading balanced cables are the way to go I was curious so got this and my gosh they made a huge difference. My sundara went from sounding decent good to sounding way more detailed and textured and highlights the headphones more. Cymbals sound way more textured and I notice a lot of small ambient sounds and tiny sounds more like clapping and sounds of breathing or whisper or even sounds of the imperfections of recording. I don't ever see myself not using balanced!! All my amps now must have a balanced input.

Definitely a upgrade to the stock cable for HiFi-Man Sundara
The stock cable broke on me a few months after I got my Sundara's. I looked at many cables on amazon, this one by far peeked my interest because of the braided cord and the tactile feel of the cable is pleasant if that's something you look for. I have had it for about 3 months now and the quality is just by far better.10/10 would recommend

A true upgrade over Sundara's original cable
I swapped my original with 4.4 balanced and used the balanced output on my not-so-expensive DAC Q11 Fiio and I can tell the difference, wider sound stage and clearer sound. Switching back and forth over the same song is definitely louder and wider. 100% satisfied with this.

Different sounding audio from the original cables for Sundara
My Sundara's cables were becoming to tangled up and squished together (per usual for these headphones) and I decided to find replacements. Seeing the listings outside of Amazon, the prices for replacements were daunting so I decided to purchase these to hopefully save myself money. The cables were as advertised, replacement cables. Through my eyes (or really ears), I thought these were going to sound no different from the ones included for the Hifiman Sundara. When I hooked these replacements in, I could already to tell something was off about them. All the sound coming out was more recessed than normal. I imagined that this was an anti-placebo and reattached the old cables to notice a difference, and there was. From bass to treble, there felt like small tuffs of cotton were filtering some of the frequencies from coming in. The soundstage was also effected by this. I'm a PC gamer and play quite of few fast pace FPS games that sometimes require soundstage to give you a heads-up in certain situations. Although Sundaras are not the most precise headphones for this, directional audio feels "compressed" by narrowing the soundstage just enough to feel out of place than usual (and yes I did look where to connect the Left and Right connectors).Overall, this difference was enough for me to be disappointed yet understand why these are cheaper than the more expensive replacement cables.TL;DRDon't buy these hoping for the same audio quality and soundstage that are similar to original Sundara cables.

Sounds as good as the $260 Moon Audio cables we have, they're really good.
We have a lot of cables from different makers (Hart, Moon Audio, and some hand made ones). These sound just as good as any of them. Forget the price is so low, these are gain with a wire. This is after testing with a Hifiman Sundara and HE4xx with a DX7 Pro and a Topping A30 Pro/SMSL M300 combo. You'll probably just want to put a little square of tape on one side to mark it, since the R and L letters are white on chrome so not easily visible. We buy and sell audio equipment and these are my new go to cables for the Hifiman stuff. If they don't sound completely transparent, send them for a replacement because these are perfect sounding on higher end equipment.
