I love this fleece. It fits all of my dogs really well. It's light enough that my cold-natured dogs can comfortably wear it in the house and not get too warm. I have 3 different size dogs I purchased this product for, and here was my experience with sizing:All of my dogs are fit and in good weight, which should be taken into account if you are choosing a size compared to my pups.I have three terriers, the largest is 20lbs, the smaller ones are 13lbs and 10lbs.The 20lb dog required a size XL.I originally purchased the same size for the 10lb and 13lb terriers, but the M on the 13lb terrier was like a muscle shirt, way too tight.The 13lb dog required a size L.The 10lb dog required a size M.I hope these pictures for size comparisons help :)

Medium is the perfect fit for our 8lb chihuahua! We always have issues with his clothes and he's always cold so it's important we find clothes he can wear all the time. Also ordered this in a large and my dog wears it over his other clothes kind of like a fleece jacket. Definitely recommend!!

I have a small puppy who weighs less than 20 lbs and I got him this cute fleece for the cold weather.After few days of use, the clip broke completely when my puppy pulled the leash, and then he ran away. Luckily I ran fast and was able to stop him, but this product is poorly built, and could easily result in losing my four legged friend.I guess that’s what you get for a $10 item. Beware.

Originally ordered medium for my jack russell, too small. He's short and chesty. I ordered large, it fit length... but it was little tight around his chest. (he's only 10lbs) I put it on my miniature pincscher (7lbs, petite) and it actually fits her perfectly! After carefully measuring my dog, I bought according to the chest measurement in the chart shown in the photos. I ended up with a large, and my dog is drowning in it. It’s so baggy that it looks like she’s wearing one of those Snuggies (As Seen on TV!). The tag on the item itself lists the sizing by weight instead (see photo). According to the tag, my dog is between a small and a medium. Buyer beware.On the upside, the quality of my useless purchase seems good, and my dog seems to like the concept.

Updated October 2016: A year later including heavy usage, and lots of washing. Plus lots of running and play in rainy western Oregon and this vest is still going strong. A friend made a sweater for her as a moving present and in the real cold I layer it, and it works great. She's also now 28lbs (but still long and lanky) and the XL still fits great. In fact I just ordered another one, and I'll probably order a third (my dog has so little body fat she gets cold terribly easy). It is both affordable and well made. I recommend them to all my friends with small dogs.My dog is weirdly shaped - she's long and lanky, 22lbs. At her chest she's 22" and her neck is 15". I bought the XL for her and it fits pretty well. It drifts off her neck some, but that's okay. I definitely need to get her something warmer for winter, but this should work for fall and spring in the Willamette Valley of Oregon.My one concern is the leash holder on the back, I'm not sure how well it will hold up. I have concerns that if she tries to take off quickly, that the fabric will rip.

Product seems to be nicely made, but for our 9 lb Boston terrier puppy, it is tight in the chest, wide in the neck, and long in the length. This will last a couple of weeks before he grows out of it. So, a medium is okay for now, but obviously won't be used much. If the fleece was a little wider, I would give it 4 stars. Perhaps a more narrow-chested dog like a Chihuahua would fit better in this style.

Very pleased with this purchase! Fits our little Yorkie perfectly! She is 6 lbs, neck circumference of 8 inches and chest circumference of 13.5 inches, I ordered a small and it's perfect with a little extra room around the neck. We also ordered it in pink! Hopefully she will be nice and warm this winter!

Quite a small fit. I have a chihuahua he has a broad chest and the fit was snug. Maybe a medium would have been better. To get on you have to pull over the head so it was a little difficult. But over all a nice little coat.

El suéter está muy bien maquilado. Honestamente, no he encontrado un suéter así de bien hecho en el mercado ni en Costco y a este precio. Las costuras son sutiles y le ajusta perfecto a mi Schnauzer pequeño la talla XL. Consideren que están hechos para razas chicas y miniatura, por eso es que a mi perro le quedó la talla más grande.La guía de tallas que puso el anunciante es precisa, basándome en ella medí a mi perro y determiné correctamente la talla.Me gustó que el cuello es mucho más holgado, lo que permite que mi perro esté cómodo y que pueda tener su collarín puesto. La tela se siente ligera, pero a la vez muy calientita.El seguro que está en la parte posterior del suéter definitivamente no es para enganchar la correa. Aunque probablemente así lo haya pensado el fabricante, la verdad es que no te puedes fiar de un seguro que está cosido a la tela. Tarde o temprano la fuerza del perro hará que se suelte, así que lo considero más bien un adorno.

El producto es excelente. Mi perrita es viejita y friolenta y con este chalequito se mantiene caliente aún durante días fríos.El color es muy lindo, la tela es suave y el anillo que viene incorporado funcionó bien para colocar la correa (ojo, mi perrito no se jala nada entonces no sé si funcione para perritos que sí lo hagan)Mi perrita es de tamaño pequeño y pedí la talla L y le quedó excelente.
