I ordered this ring because this is the design I'd like for my engagement ring. I wanted to have a way to "try it on" before investing in the real thing. It's a setting I've always been drawn to and for the price I figured if I hated it, no biggie.I was nervous about the adjustable setting, as those rings tend to be uncomfortable. They can poke you, or not stay secure. This ring surprised me! I can't tell it's an adjustable ring when wearing. This ring is VERY comfortable.I've been wearing it non stop for days and it hasn't turned my finger any crazy colors. It's held up to hand washing and daily chores with no issues.The smooth sides of the ring make it very comfortable between the fingers. It's not bulky, and it tapers to where your fingers touch so the ring doesn't constantly keep your fingers separated.The stone has sparkle. I'd like a little more fire, but again, I think about the price. I don't like the silver beading around the top and bottom of the stone. I think that takes away from the piece. That's why I took off one star. Just a style issue with me. I have never liked that on a ring.The stone feels secure. I feel the prongs are going to keep this one in place.Four stars. One star off for the silver beading on the top and bottom of the stone and for the packaging. I think this would have been stunning to open if in a black box. I know you can always place it in one, but it would be a nice touch to offer as the packaging.
