I get so many compliments on this hat! It looks so chic, it's comfortable, and it keeps you toasty-warm -- sometimes I wear the hat with a woolly sweater and skip the jacket completely. And I love that it's faux fur and animal-friendly. It's also a great price, and will fit most heads, including mine which is a bit on the big side, although I have to use bobby pins to keep it from slipping up and off (that may partly be due to the satin lining). This is no problem, because the fur is thick enough that the pins are completely invisible.

I wore this in our winter carnival parade and got so many compliments! I have kind of a small pointy head but lots of hair, it fit perfectly. (If you have a large head it might be a little small.) It's really nice quality, looks and feels like real fur. The inside is soft, very comfortable to wear.

My heart was broken when I left my purple cossack's style hat behind in my hotel room in Transylvania. I couldn't let it go. Found the duplicate on Amazon! Fits my head (22 3/8") because it's stretchy, the "fur" fluffs nicely with a cool blow dry, it's fun and eye-catching and makes me happy. A snowy day in Romania or a heat wave in California...what a mood-booster! Shipping was late, however, so be advised.

Fur is not soft. It feels rough and corse and unattractive. Also very wrinkled from the vacuum seal.

Great hat.Lots of compliments, I got on it, and it runs pretty big because I have a big head.I didn't think it was going to fit me.The only reason why i'm not giving it.Five stars is because it came at a russian pin on it.And i'm not russian, and this is not russia.I don't know why they're selling in america with a russian pin on it.But anyway, the pin can be removed!! And the hat's gorgeous and very warm.!!!

After opening the hat get it wet and wring it out. Pull the lining out and hold it by the lining and shake water out as much as you can. Hang it by the lining and come back to it and shake it some more. Repeat it until it fluffs evenly like it shows in the product picture. My head is 22 inches from forehead to the back and fits very well. This hat is VERY warm! We get sub zero weather sometimes and I know this will do very well.

I ordered two hats: 1 Black and 1 Natural. The Natural came first and had to be returned. I would give it zero stars if I could. The Natural hat fit my head with a little room to spare. I have an average size head. However, the hat style was huge. It made my head look distorted. The material looked like very cheap fake fur and the "natural" color was really a mix of a lot of black, dark brown and some odd shades of off-white. When I opened it my dog thought it was a stuffed animal for him. If you want to wear something huge that your dog will think is a stuffed animal then you should definitely buy this. It wasn't what I had in mind. I returned mine. Now about the Black--it came the following day and is perfect in every way. It fits better and looks nice on my head. The only downside is it has a slightly unpleasant odor that I'm hoping is just from the packaging and will go away. I was unable to review each hat separately so averaged the stars to 3. The Natural color gets 0 stars and I took off 2 stars from the Black due to the odor. The thing that makes this 3 stars is lack of consistent quality and the photo of the "Natural" color not looking anything remotely close to the hat I received (which resembled road kill).

From the moment I received the hat, I was impressed by it, the quality was good, it kept me warm, but from the minute it snowed on the furry hay it wasn't as nice anymore. So I used it for a winter only.
