This light is awesome, probably a lot more than what I ever needed! I am a bit of a newbie to indoor gardening. I use this in a 2x4 foot tent, I am trying out my first indoor veggie garden with it & hoping to get very good at the skill over time so I can eat lots of top quality foods Initially I had set up the light in the tent with the little power pack it comes with on top of it, I copied pictures and videos I had seen. My tent was getting way too hot! So I had to put it external & I never had the problem again. The light gets very bright though, if I have it too bright then it gets too warm again. I just keep mine on 45% and my plants seem to be really happy. I'm growing spinach, kale, broccoli, cucumber, cherry tomato, thai basil and birdseye chilli in my tent. I'm having a lot of fun, I definitely didn't need a light this powerful though but at least I know if I get better at gardening in the future and do find a need for a brighter light or maybe I might upgrade to a taller tent, then I could obviously make use of it. ..and I do wish my tent was taller! Now that my cherry tomato has grown a lot more I'm wishing I had more height & same with thinking about when my cucumbers start climbing. I knew it'd be limited space, but now I see everything growing & the lucious green leaves of everything & I regret that I didn't get a much bigger tent My goal is to be able to grow all of my food one day This is definitely the start of me starting the journey toward meeting that goal I easily give this light a 5 star rating, but do note that I'm not in any way an expert.
