Does this come with a XLR cable?

No, the MV7X does not come packaged with an XLR cable.

Can it directly be used with iPad？

The MV7X requires an XLR connection – It is possible to connect this to an iOS device but only if you have an external audio interface with XLR inputs that can connect to your iPad. You may also want to consider the standard MV7, as it has both XLR and USB connectivity. MV7 is compatible with lighting-equipped iOS devices with the use of a USB Micro-B to Lightning cable (sold separately by Shure as AMV-LTG). Note that the MV7 is not compatible with iOS devices that have a USB-C connector instead of a lightning connector. Do I need to also buy the a shock absorber to mount this?

The fan on my computer makes a lot of noise when I'm streaming - will this mic help block it out if it's pointed at me and away from my computer?

No, as quality mics are designed to pick up every frequency of sound. So even the buzzing of a fly with this mic can be captured. To help eliminate background noise you may need a mixer that comes with a built in noise suppressor/noise gate which helps get rid of most background noise, (I use a Tascam mixcast 4 to help with streaming)once the suppressor is configured the way you like you should get good quality sound which this mic does provide with minimal or no background noise but all depends on the mixer or software you use.

Worth every penny

I have a shure SM7b also and it needs preamp also but this microphone doesn’t need anything additional and sound 99% the same as SM7b. So glad purchased this.

Very good quality

I bought this a couple of months ago, to record for my videos, and it is quite good at rejecting ambient sounds unless you are very close to it. Keep in mind that I had to buy literally everything else to make it work. The package only sends the mic, literally nothing else.
