Great purchase!!
I bought this Telescope as a Christmas gift for my 7-year-old son, and it’s been a fantastic choice! The telescope is very easy to set up, and my son was able to start using it almost immediately with minimal assistance. The 70mm aperture delivers clear, bright views of the moon, and he’s been able to spot some planets and even the craters on the moon! The magnification range of 15X-150X is perfect for him as a beginner — it allows us to adjust the view for different objects in the sky.One of the best features is how lightweight and portable it is. My son can easily carry it around and set it up by himself, making it perfect for stargazing in the backyard or on trips. The included tripod is decent, though it can be a bit wobbly at higher magnifications. However, this is a minor issue for casual stargazing and doesn’t detract much from the overall experience. It’s been such a fun way for my son to explore the night sky, and it’s sparked his curiosity about space and science. Overall, this is an excellent telescope for young beginners, and I highly recommend it as a gift for kids interested in astronomy!

Cool telescope for kids
My kid loves this telescope! We were sighting it in during the pictures. But got a great shot of the moon that evening. My daughter said the moon looks like cookies and cream 😂. It is a shorter tripod but the quality seems great and easy to use.

Goof for the money
Inexpensive but for the money a good buy. Great for kids. You pretty much have to buy a full size tripod for it.

Easy to carry around, and the phone option makes it easy to see
There were more pieces than I expected, but the instructions were easy to follow so I was able to figure it out. It’s lightweight but sturdy, so it’s easy to carry around. The first night we used it, we didn’t have a good spot to set it after we got away from the neighborhood lights, but it was no problem holding the telescope by hand (without even removing the tripod). I really like the phone feature. Not just for capturing images, but it’s much easier on my eyes. My daughter had a kid’s telescope years ago but we couldn’t see much so she stopped using it. This one has kept her interest, and my youngest daughter has gotten involved too. This is good for something a little more advanced for the kids that’s not too pricey, easy to use and carry, and can actually get some clear images. My youngest accidently dropped it a few times and it was fine. The only thing I would like is a bag to store all of the attachments together.

Great Beginner Telescope!
I was so excited to get this before the weekend! This is a great beginner telescope. The directions made it so easy to set up. They have a wonderful video instructions so you know exactly how to put it together. This is great for stargazing in the backyard perfect for children and beginner adults that want to stargaze I love the feature that you can attach your phone and get some pictures of the stars, the only negative I would say that the stand is a little short, so make sure you have a table or a great place to set it on top of. Although the short is great for kids, make sure that you can keep it on their level for the price and the quality this is a great beginner telescope for anybody who’s just getting into looking at the stars and moon.

Perfect for beginners!
This telescope is perfect for beginners! It was easy to set up and use, and the image quality was impressive. I spent hours watching the Moon and was amazed by the clarity. The included phone adapter and wireless remote make capturing images effortless. The materials feel durable and well-made. My only wish is that the tripod was adjustable, but overall, this is a fantastic product for both kids and adults. Highly recommend for anyone starting their astronomy journey!

Better for Beginners Than Stargazers
Not the vibe. I got this to try and catch the parade of planets, but it was honestly hard to see much of anything. It might work well for kids or absolute beginners just getting curious about the sky, but if you're hoping to see anything “far far away,” this probably isn’t it.

Good kids telescope
Tis is a really good telescope for kids who are semi interested in astronomy and have a short attention span. Focus is simple, pretty easy to use and straight forward. Power is meh but I bought it for a 10 yr old. Seeing Mars through it was cool. You could actually tell the difference between a star and a planet with this.I give it 4 stars just because its stability is lacking. The smallest bump and it looks like you are staring at sparklers being waved i front of you for a long time.Despite that it was a good buy and would recommend for other kids ages 8-12
