Q: how long are the sleeves on the extra extra large?

I have really long arms, a lot of coats are too short in the sleeves for me, and they are perfect in this coat! The sleeves also have knit interior cuffs which you don't see much of anymore. The sleeves are also raglan cut, not set in shoulder which is nice and roomy.

Q: Does the zipper work from both top and bottom?

Zipper zips from bottom but lots of problems trying to zip if you don't line it up right it takes time which is why I gave it bad review. Otherwise it's a warm coat. I wear it every day just have to rely on the moodiness of that zipper.

Q: Would you say the hood is small or a good size? From the pictures, it looks to be smaller and I prefer a more roomy hood.

I found it to be very small...I like to wear my hair in a bun, and I can't do that w this hood. It will barely cover your ears.

Q: Are there any interior/hidden pockets?

Yes, there is a hidden pocket on the left near the top. It zips closed and is large enough to hold a phone and/or cash and credit cards.
