Great locking hitch pin. No worries that my hitch is safe

Nicer than expected. Great build quality and heavy duty. Well above the cheap ones. I feel confident they will not fail.

Very easy to install. Three anti-rattle washers, safety clip and push-on locking end. Safety pin provides protection if lock fails and drops off pin. To remove in a dark access area you must line up the round key (better than a standard key) on the end aligned with the pin. Would be easier if the lock was accessible on the pin side. One could rotate the pin to expose the lock with straight on view. Lock removal is the reason for 4-stars.

I have owned various locks from various companies over 25+ years of towing trailers. This one is by far the best lock for several reasons. The o-rings, the safety pin, the key hole cover (stays put), but most of all you can remove the key after you unlock it. I do not have to juggle the keys in and out of my pocket when changing receivers. All you have to do to lock it is push in the lock button! I own four of these all keyed alike The seller was very responsive and helpful when ordering the second pair keyed alike. I am planning to buy another pair.Update since I purchased the 4th pin. I just purchased a 5th pin due to adding a receiver to the front of my truck. Here is another reason this lock is the best out there. On a recent camping trip we encountered a gentleman that was towing a 30'ish foot bumper pull travel trailer. He had dragged his trailer for about ~75 feet down a slight hill before he could stop it while the threads of the ball was plowing the asphalt.We stopped to see if he needed help and found out the Chinese made hitch pin lock came off some time back and the pin had wiggled out so that the shank of the hitch, ball and all, was on the ground still connected to the trailer. The chains were not crossed so the hitch had plenty of room to reach the ground. Also the poor guy had the emergency brake cable around the base of the ball. Not much good in this situation.This pin has a safety pin that would have prevented that the pin from coming out IF the lock falls off. This is the only hitch pin I know of with a safety pin. I cannot recommend this pin enough.
