Good unflavored protein for a decent price
I’ve using this protein for a while now and it’s exactly what I was looking for in a clean protein supplement. Since it’s unflavored, it mixes well into smoothies, oatmeal, or shakes without overpowering other ingredients. It’s a great option if you want to control the flavor yourself. The powder blends smoothly with water or milk and doesn’t leave a heavy or chalky texture. It does bubble up abit so be sure to let the bubbles settle, for a couple of mins to air out Without any other flavor, it tastes like water-down milk. I also like that it provides a high amount of protein per serving without a lot of extra additives. The 5 lb container lasts a long time, which makes it a good value for the price. Overall, a solid choice if you want a simple, high-quality whey isolate that’s versatile and easy to use in different recipes.

Great Taste and Very Affordable Protein
The taste is very good and, honestly, the price is very reasonable and affordable. It mixes well and goes nicely with smoothies, milk, or other drinks. It is easy to incorporate into daily protein intake without overpowering the flavor of whatever you mix it with. Overall, it is a great value for the quantity and quality.

Good stuff. Mixes well. Lot's of protein. Price is right.
I've tried several of these protein powders. I like this one because it mixes into my milkshakes very well. Others sometimes clump up to the sides of the blender and resist mixing in. Cleaning the blender is also very easy, since there are almost no spots that didn't mix. Lastly, all the pre-flavored ones I tried were just awful. This one has no flavor aside from the natural taste, which isn't bad anyway. You can add your own flavor if you like without the horrible sweetness.

Hopefully quite good and well priced, ingredients are a bit mysterious
Seems quite good, avoids excess sugar, good mixed with your own cocoa and flavorings to taste, "Isolate" is better than "Concentrate" if you wish to avoid excess fat and perhaps receive a little less sugar (lactose), decent price, palatable enough, dissolves quite well in 6 oz cold milk in a blender (but don't put it in hot beverages like hot coffee, it curdles). Nutricost website says, "Made in a GMP Compliant, FDA Registered Facility", but this statement falls short and isn't very reassuring, it would be nice to be able to read the actual chemical analysis performed by an independent reputable lab such as USP, this is always a concern. For instance, what is the actual measured heavy metal and lead concentration? The disclaimer "Do not use for weight reduction" is puzzling and a bit CYA, since this whey animal protein presumably has a full complement of amino acids, and undoubtedly many folks including myself are using it to boost protein intake while taking GLP-1 agonists and limiting calories. Thus we have to take some of this on faith, never a fully comfortable undertaking for something we ingest daily.

Good, additive-free protein
I like this Nutricost Whey Protein Isolate. Since it’s unsweetened and unflavored, it isn’t chock full of weird chemicals like most. Just whey. I bought it to replace Unjury, which gets expensive. This is a very light yellow-tan, where Unjury is perfectly white. Don’t care. It is flavorless, so it doesn’t mess up my smoothies. I think it’s not *quite* as smooth in texture as Unjury, but the difference - if it really exists - is negligible. Quite satisfied.

This tastes disgusting alone but
I’d been searching high and low for unflavored to mix into smoothies etc and this was one of the few isolates I found. It tastes like crap if you drink it alone sure but it’s protein powder, and unflavored, so what do you expect 😂 higher protein amount per serving than others too. I love this stuff so much . Blends easily too and never able to taste it once it’s mixed in. And when I do drink it with just water post workout sometimes? We’ve all been thru worse. 10/10

Beware - horrible product and unacceptable Nutricost customer service!
Beware - horrible product and unacceptable Nutricost customer service! Product is NOT dissolve in liquid/milk and become a very small lumps about the size of very small lentils and settle down to the bottom of the glass - all of it - disgusting! While trying to figure out the reason I've sent a request about ingredients composition and Nutricost responded that Nutricost keeping the ingredients % in secret from their clients - dignity imbedded answer! Nutricost also refuse to send a return label: "we do not provide return labels at this time. You can purchase a return label from any major carrier including UPS, USPS, and FedEx"

Great price but too chalky
It's the best price out there but it tastes so chalky compared to the Now one. It has more protein than the other brand but it's hard to get down with a little water. I guess you need to mix it with a lot of water or in a smoothie but the texture is not great alone and hard to get down.
