Q: Do the knives rust over time?

Not sure for I bought as a gift for my Son as a housewarming gift recently. If they were to show rust he would definitely let me know. He's a restaurant Manager.

Q: Is the blue color on the handle of this steak knife easy to fall off?

I've only been using them for a couple of days, but the color so far is as good as new. It doesn't look like it will fade but again, I haven't used them much. They are very sharp and seem like good, sturdy knives
