It’s not Curly Maple.
This product is not as described. The grain is straight and not attractive.

Wasn't impressed at first but that changed.
When I first opened the package I wasn't very impressed. But once they were on the knife and I sanded to higher grits they really started to pop. This knife in the picture sold very fast. Several other have since ordered a knife with curly maple scales. The knife in the picture was hand sanded to 1000 grit and then I buffed it with a brown then white rouge. Needless to say I'm back to order more.

It's not curly maple...just plain maple
Just basic maple slabs. Not stabilized. I'll use them on a bladevand see how it looks after shaping and treating with a dozen or so coats of oil.

Curly maple
I like to cut my maple up and put it with other woods. My customers love it when I add it to stuff like stabilized barn wood. I have bought these scales on a couple occasions now and polish up well. They will need to be stabilized
