I purchased these clips to hang a heavy quilt on a large curtain rod over a closet door. Due to the thickness and weight of the quilt I was a little nervous that they would hold well but they have exceeded my expectations. The clips are a little tough to open at first but clamped securely onto the thick quilt and the fabric has not bugged at all even though it is tugged frequently gain access to the closet. They slide easily on the curtain rod I only used about a dozen clips to hang the whole quilt which was much less than I expected especially with constant movement

I wanted something that would let the curtains move easily on the tension rods. These are perfect and I love watching the curtains blow in the breeze. Feels like I am back in Florida.

I plan to use these with a curtain rod and some cotton handkerchiefs as an old-timey window curtain. I've got a 9 foot (275 cm) wide window and only want a valance of sorts - these clips will hold the handkerchiefs interspersed with some old scarves and make a good window valance where no curtain is needed. Perfect!

I bought these for heavy velvet curtians. They hold like a champ. I open and close my curtians each day and I am not delicate when I throw these curtians back, the clips hold every time and the rings glide over the rod easily. Highly recommend.

I bought these to hang mosquito netting around our covered patio. We used adjustable curtain rods and stick on rod holders. So far so good, keeping the bugs out so I don't get eaten up and can enjoy the porch more.
