Ottomanson 2x2 Entryway Rug – Non-Slip Small Area Rugs

I have a swimming pool and a very slippery cement garage floor--a dangerous combination. Sometimes after I swim my laps, I go into my garage to get a garden tool or some other thing. Well, last week I did not dry off enough before walking into the garage and the inevitable happened--I slipped and fell hard onto the cement floor. Fortunately I was not hurt, but I knew I needed to finally DO something about the problem before someone was seriously hurt. I immediately went to Amazon.com and ordered this rug because it was attractive, of decent length, and inexpensive. It arrived in two days! At first I was dismayed by the package size because it was about 14"x14" and only 2-3" thick! I thought that it was going to be a waste of money and a piece of junk, but when I opened, unfolded, and put it on the floor, it was perfect! It looks nice and lies flat, so I probably won't trip OR slip! I may order another one so that I have "coverage" for most of the width of the garage.

I've had the 4x6' in this pattern for around six years. I was so pleased that I could find the 3x4' all these years later. Good, deep colors that are true to what you see on the screen. Fabric has worn well and is the same as the rug that was just delivered. This is the fifth rug made by Ottomanson that I have purchased on Amazon; consistently good quality at an excellent price point.

Nice looking, great colors...came in a roll. Worried I would have to press down for weeks. Not! Lays nice and flat. Good purchase.

I was looking for carpet runners for high traffic areas to help keep the rest of my carpets looking clean. These rugs work great for that purpose. Rugs are thin, yes, but that is a feature so that they can be placed on existing carpet in front of doors and the door will not be blocked by the rug. In my house this works about 95% well. The rugs have a finishing edge, that edge is a tiny bit higher than the rest of the rug; once the door clears that little bit, we can easily push open the door without concern. We have this situation with one door, on another door we have no issue at all. Others customers have complained about rug falling apart in the washing machine. There is a simple fix for that: don't put them in the washing machine! These rugs were not designed to be washed that way, as explained in the product description on Amazon. If you have a strong need to be able to do that with a rug, then don't buy this one. These rugs should be wiped down with a wet cloth, as needed; for me, that is easy enough to do, and it occurs to me that I will save a lot of water by doing so. Other customers have complained about the rug moving. There is a thin rubber backing, which is both a pro and a con. It is a pro because it allows the rug to be put in a doorway without blocking the door, it is a con when the rug is used on a carpet because the rug will move a bit. In my house of two adults, the movement is not so noticeable. In a house of kids and/or animals, more movement would be expected. IMHO, if movement is a problem, it could be fixed by attaching more rubber gripping to the back of the mat in certain strategic places, such as the corners and a few points along the edge. I love the design of this rug and how it works with other furniture in the room. I can walk on it comfortably with bare feet. I originally thought I would take up these runners when guests come to visit, but increasingly I'm thinking that they are pretty enough that I might just keep them down because they add a bit to the style of the room. I think the price is pretty good for the value this rug provides to me. Overall, I am very happy to have found and purchased this rug.

I bought this runner for my kitchen and although I love the print, I've had 2nd thoughts after having it for a few days and have decided to purchase another print. I think it would be perfect anywhere else in the home, but just not the best for the kitchen only because it has a tendency of showing every little crumb and tiny thing that might land on it (I bought the dark brown leaf print). So you will constantly be vacuuming it and who wants to do that? (plus we are in a 2nd floor apartment so we don't want to drive our neighbors below us crazy). Another downside to the rug worth mentioning is that is it very thin, which might bother some people that will be standing on it for any length of time. So I think you would want to call it a mat, as opposed to a rug. Although I do not feel this is a reason to give a negative review as the thickness is stated in the description. So if you plan on standing on it a lot and are looking for something with more pile, than you would probably not be happy with this one, that's all. I was okay with that aspect though - I loved the print, the size, and the price! I just needed a different print for my kitchen. I should have went with my gut instinct before purchasing it as I thought I might have that issue with it. Aside from that, it's very pretty and I do recommend.

arrived on time and as described. I hoped it was a little deeper red, but overall the colors are beautiful. I bought 2 different lengths. I unwrapped both of them, laid them on the floor. They lay very flat, despite arriving in a tight roll. Stays in place, nice low pile. I haven't had to wash them yet, so can't respond to that. Very nice rug/runner. I would recommend this rug.

i purchased 2 of these in different patterns nice lightweight carpets easy to wipe up spills, which i had to do on the first day lol very pleased with purchase highly recommend

Don’t hesitate about purchasing this rug it is a very well made product the colour is vibrant and looks very nice on the floor it blends in very nicely the rubber back sit firmly and doesn’t move around I bought 2 3x5 for my front and back door way it’s a nice size for the entryway extremely happy with this purchase I would recommend this product and would be very happy to purchase more 👍👍👍👍👍
