From what I've learned Whey protein breaks down in direct light. So foil and opaque containers are better. -This stuff does not seem to cause me much, if any, GI distress while on treatments. I dig that. There are other protein powders that were flavored that I've tried in the past while on treatments that simply thinking about now makes me gag. This has not yet had that effect on me after my first couple of smoothies simply because the stuff doesn't have my smell or taste to nauseate me. Plain and simple as far as I can tell.
