The plush came in a compressed package, which was convenient for shipping. Within just a few hours out of the bag, it inflated fully and reached its fluffy, soft shape. This firmly stuffed whale is the perfect size for little hands and does not have the fuzz that comes off of so many stuffed animals. Fabric is soft and design goes well with many current quilts and baby's room decor. I love that it has several size choices.

Even when it grew to its full size, I could never quite get all of the little wrinkles out from being shrunk down. It's not super noticeable if you're not a big stickler for little details, but I am, so that's probably the only reason that I took notice. It is incredibly soft and a gorgeous, deep blue. I purchased this as a gift for a friend who was expecting and has a marine mammal-themed nursery. She loved this little whale. I do wish there was a size slightly larger than this, but this is great for a small child.
