Perfect for our orders
We got this exclusively for our DoorDash orders, only to find out it isn’t one of DoorDash’s “recommended” machines. But we were able to connect it (in the DoorDash merchant portal not in settings) and it works great! Super easy set up, literally came ready to go. No need to even put it in Bluetooth mode, it’s always ready to connect. Prints quickly and clearly. And it’s super heavy duty. Totally worth the price so far.

NOT AS ADVERTISED
Not as advertised. The "compare" chart laying out the differences between the different Star printers says that this connects via LAN, Bluetooth, etc but it actually only connects to ONE bluetooth device at a time, no other way to connect it to anything. It is a one-device printer for $300+. My cash drawer won't even connect to it, so it's literally just a DoorDash receipt printer. Such a waste

Sucks that I need two of these, but besides that it is okay.
For context, I am helping to set up the online portals for my restaurant. The services that we use are:Grubhub, Doordash, and Uber. All 3 services run on Android tablets.I will have to say, I assumed that the printer would be able to connect with all three. I found out later that Doordash's software only allows a 1-1 connection, meaning that I would need another printer for Uber and Grubhub. (This information was given to me by a rep from Star Micronics)The second printer has yet to arrive, but who knows? Hoping that everything works out.

Works with OpenTable!
For anyone using OpenTable this syncs right up via Bluetooth to an iPad and I can imagine an android tablet as well. I thought it was a little pricy, but I believe buying the right quality product is better than a crappy one that is hard to connect and only lasts a couple months to a year. Noise is fairly non existent. Printing speed is ok, not the fastest I have seen but I’m just nitpicking on an otherwise fantastic printer.
