Incredibly easy installation Review: I installed it as a mailbox alarm. It took a little playing, but I got it hooked up. I attached the transmitter to a post used to hold the mailbox and attached a line about half-way up the mailbox door. The line has the magnet and some extra weight to allow it slide up and down by the transmitter as the door is opened/closed. My mailbox is about 800 feet from the house and being the mail often now is not delivered until 7 - 8 pm, I don't enjoy making the hike to the mailbox in the dark and when it is cold. Now I don't have to make multiple trips to the mailbox when I expect important mail. I am only 83 years old.
