I've been using this burr grinder every day for almost a year now, and it has met my expectations. The grinder works so well, and is a pleasure to use. The battery stays charged for an entire pound of coffee, and consistently grinds the beans to the the proper coarseness. It is relatively quiet, and takes up little space in may cabinet. So much easier to use than the hand grinder I used for years. If only I would have known...You will be satisfied with your purchase, and be happy it facilitates your French Press habit. One of the best purchases I've made.

Overall, the grinder is nice, I use it daily to grind 2x 25g of coffee. Battery lasts about 5 days at that usage before needing to be recharged. I wish it could go a step finer on the grind, but the finest setting is okay (not great) for my aeropress.I do not like the glass cup at the bottom. The male threads should be on the grinder with female threads on the cup. The way the threads are designed, coffee grounds go everywhere when you unscrew the cup. Instead, I use a small plastic cup that the grinder fits into to collect my grounds.

I don't use this for travel, I just wanted a small burr grinder because all the plug models are very large counter top machines. This is perfect. It takes a little while to grind, but I usually only do 4 or 5 cups, which it is very capable of. If I want 10-12 cups, I'll just do 2 batches! I love that the grind size is very adjustable, and the battery life is just fine.

I don't usually write reviews but after researching and having so many choices we decided on this one. I wanted to help everyone else who is overwhelmed with the amount of very similar grinders to choose from. We LOVE this grinder. When our old portable grinder broke we decided to see what other options were out there and wow there are a lot. But this one has been such a great choice. Compared to our last one this is one much quieter. Don't get me wrong, it's a grinder so it will make some noise but thankfully not much. It is significantly faster than our last grider and the shape of the hopper forces all the beans to fall down and get ground. Our last grinder we always has to shake and bump to get the last beans to fall through. The glass container is great. The grounds don't seem to stick at all and so far it also doesn't seem to get stained at all from the grounds. The setting for how fine to grind is a little confusing at first. Once you understand how to set it, it is actually very easy. That would be my only complaint if I could find anything. I can't speak for all the other grinder choices there are, but I can tell you if you choose this one. You won't be disappointed.UPDATE: It's broken. I piece of the drive train broke in the motor and now its completely useless. We loved it until it broke. We only had it for 6 months. Disappointed.

Invertí en este molino luego de haber comprado 3 de “bajo costo” que finalmente se dañaban sus piezas, la batería no duraba lo esperado, la capacidad era muy pequeña y debía dividir la cantidad para poder moler lo necesario.Lo que mas resalto es su capacidad de 60gr de café y que puede moler aún cargando, es decir, no te quedas sin tu café molido. Lo negativo es que no puedes tener una molienda muy gruesa debido a su diseño. Por lo demás es el mejor que he tenido y me hubiera gustado comprar otro.

Probably it will be good for something, but not for espresso coffee, it's too coarse even at the finest setting.

Small and powerful portable grinder - love this grinder!

The ground coffee comes out on top of the adjustment control setting. I tried to go 8 clicks toward fine; it stopped at 6, and now I'm not sure what my setting is.
