Perfect Solution for Connecting Legacy XP Systems to Wi-Fi
This product is amazing! It took only 5 minutes to set up and works flawlessly with my internal network. I have legacy instrumentation running on XP operating systems, which don’t recognize USB Wi-Fi adapters but work fine with Ethernet cables. To avoid running cables from my server to these XP computers, I decided to try the BrosTrend device—and it exceeded my expectations. After setting it up with my internal wireless network, I simply plugged it into an XP computer using an Ethernet cable, and it connected automatically. I chose the 2.4 GHz band instead of 5 GHz since I wasn’t sure if XP would recognize the latter. The 2.4 GHz connection works perfectly, providing fast and reliable data transfer for files and images from my instrumentation. This product is a game-changer for my setup, and I’ll definitely be purchasing more for my other legacy instruments. Highly recommended!

Works! and does something you might not want
As a network contractor I often running across non-WiFi devices -- receipt printers, TVs with broken WiFi adapters, etc. This device solves the problem. Installation is easy and Ethernet connection is stable. What the description doesn't make clear is that this unit is also a WiFi extender and transmits its own WiFi signal. (I suspect it was originally a WiFi extender that added an Ethernet port.) Great, huh? Well, it could be but if you don't want that capability, there's no way to disable it. You're just stuck with one more SSID floating out there. Not a huge problem but minus one star for lack of flexibility, especially in a commercial environment.

Doesn't work as advertised to connect wired device to WiFi. This is a range extender / AP.
Purchased for the advertised functionality, to connect wired device to WiFi. The packaging also notes that you can use it as a range extender. Turns out there is no choice. Setup required either setting up as a range extender or AP. This functionality could not be disabled, and I don't want to be broadcasting extra SSIDs. This is not only completely unnecessary for my case, but would likely cause problems since I am connecting to a campus wireless system. There is no option to disable the extender function, you have to set it up in order to use the device and you cannot stop it from broadcasting. More importantly, the wired connectivity function didn't even work, so the one thing I needed this device for was non-functional. I did not test the extended SSIDs to see whether they worked, as I really do not care. The Chinese posing as English brand name already had me thinking this was going to be bad, and that instinct was correct. As usual, instead of doing the one thing I asked for, this does 3-4 things badly. Thanks for nothing, BrosTrend.

Exactly The solution to connect a Samsung TV 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I had recently up graded my Internet to the new Verizion 5G home internet from the cable company. For what ever reason the Samsung TV’s would see the new internet source, but would not connect! Listen when I tell you the frustration doing the software up dates, reseting the TV’s, changing the WIFI names, spending countless hours with Verizon Tech support accomplished absolutely nothing. Verizon said at this point you have two options, one replace your TV”s or run a ethernet cable from the router to the TV”s. Nether option was good! I said there’s no! way I am replacing TV’s or running hard wire!So I thought I would share my solution to the problem……I told the Verizon Tech on the phone what I was doing they are going to follow up to see If my Idea actually works tomorrow……… They have what is called a WI-FI internet bridge it was the only viable option and works beautiful! From the time I opened the box until I had a solid simulated wired connection was 10 mins! Just wish I had know this before going through the Verizon torcher chamber! I am sure those of you reading this are relieved to hear there is an answer to this problem! Here is the link to the one I bought. I am not getting paid or doing this as a paid review its just an honest opinion on my experience and that this product works well! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B093GZLKPH/ref=tsm_1_tp_tc

Documentation and interface a little off, but a solid product
I'm still running an HP LJ 4050 from the late 1990s. It's a tank and I have enough toner cartridges to last the rest of my life. I am confident the printer will, as well. Unfortunately, it has no wireless capability. This was okay until I moved to a small apartment where I had to drag an ethernet cable across the floor every time I wanted to print. This device has solved that. The one slight negative is that the documentation doesn't make it exactly crystal clear just which mode is the WiFi extender and which is wireless-to-ethernet only. I'd also like to see an interface to shut down the WiFi extension part. I don't need it and it just clutters the airwaves and wastes energy to have it on.The other note I want to make is about the IP management. Because of the way the docs were written I was afraid that my fixed IP on the printer wouldn't work for some reason, that the device would try to NAT it or something weird if I didn't do a DHCP IP (which wouldn't work for me for reasons I won't get into). But those fears were unfounded: the printer printed a test page first time with its fixed IP. No problem.Good product. Make the features more controllable and the setup cleaner and clearer and it will be perfect.
