This is a great item! So versatile! Stays on well, when wrapping around an injury. I used it for a swollen, infected insect bite and it was so soothing, and brought the swelling down and took out the heat. My daughter used it post-surgery on a broken leg. Works great flat or rolled up. Two thumbs up!

Great product, I have used this extensively for my lower neck. I only use it for icing so no opinion on heating element. It stays thin/flat, keeps cold for a solid hour, and is easy to refreeze. Will definitely need two layers between ice pack and skin. I love it so much I bought another set.Update:My second set is significantly colder than the first set. I have taken to using a folded over t-shirt and even with the four layers it can still be too cold. I would highly suggest trying against undamaged skin with various layers to be safe. Still very happy with product and recommend.

I love this ice pack! I love how easy this is to use and don't have to worry about any condensation as sometimes comes when using actual ice. This came with two ice packs that can also be heated to use as a hot pack. I have not tried the hot pack yet, but the ice packs are fabulous! I love the elastic wrap that holds the ice pack and easily wraps around the injury. I highly recommend this product, they don't take up much space in the freezer and the cold last quite a while making it efficient, and quicker to use than filling an ice bag.

Outstanding product! Sooner or later, you or someone in your family is going to need these icepacks / hotpacks. You will be so-so-so glad you have them. I certainly was! They are incredibly well-made, and they are super fast to freeze or heat.This weekend for 48 hours, I used them for cold packs for a dental implant that failed. I put both packs in the freezer, and 60 minutes later the icepacks were ready to use. 10 minutes on/ 10 minutes off to prevent swelling and reduce pain. The icepack easily lasted me a hour. I had it wrapped in a very soft microfiber towel.While the set does come with a blue fabric case to enclose the icepack, it was not as nice and soft against my cheek as my microfiber lavender hair towel (from Amazon, of course). That said, the blue fabric case supplied w/the 2 icepacks does have a nice elastic band on it. I can see that would be very handy for keeping the pack in place against a wrist or ankle or knee, etc.Today I’m using one of the packs as a heat pack against my cheek to speed the healing and improve blood flow to the implant’s extraction site. Aaah! So glad I can very quickly heat one in the microwave. It takes about 50 seconds to heat up.My .02… get these BEFORE you need them. Because sooner or later you or someone in your family will need them to ease the pain and promote healing. Fortunately Amazon delivered them to us in less than 24 hours! Great product, great price!

These gel packs are excellent. They stay cold for a long time and are very beneficial in helping your recovery from injuries or other sources of pain and discomfort. We haven’t tried heating them as be have other microwaveable wraps but for cold applications they are definitely worth the money. Highly recommend.

A life saver when you’re nursing an injury or looking to soothe achy muscles or joints. Easy to use, comfortable, and freezes quickly while staying cold. Not too heavy either (I could walk around with it on my knee for ACL injury). I recommend!

These hit/cold packs have been a life saver! I bought them before having my gallbladder removed in case of swelling and I am so glad I did! My recovery has been a little harder than I expected and aa ice packs they have been so helpful in easing my pain. I love that there were two because I have been able to rotate them out pretty frequently since they only take an hour to refreeze. And the Velcro is super strong so I can wrap it around my abdomen and it stays in place. I highly recommend it for any injury or post surgery recovery, or just to keep on hand.
