A nice pair of glasses
This is a nice pair of rather sturdy glasses, that would be ideal to drink straight whisky from. Alternatively, you might get yourself a nice bottle of Irish Meadow. It might be the poor man's Bailey's but it's still plenty of fun to pour, man. I'm not really sure what to make of the claims about this being the first eco-friendly glass, however. The plastic foam interior is enough to raise at least a degree of suspicion. However, it's not always easy to put the earth's future first, when you've got the likes of Hermes out there. I can't see a load of hay doing much to protect the structural integrity of a glass, when your driver simply bungs it over the roof of your house, on to the patio.Anyway, I hope the claims are genuine, but I'd like to have seen a little more detailed evidence. Ideally they could have provided some kind of certificate with a watermark of a panda, or perhaps a hologram featuring a Peruvian rainforest. I'd also have been willing to settle for a photograph of Sir David Attenborough giving a thumbs up to the camera. However, on the plus side, the box in which these came says "whisky stones". Fairplay to them for their commitment to recycling the boxes for a whole different product, rather than wasting the earth's resources upon accurately labelled packaging. Anyway, I'll be keeping these for best in order to minimise the chances of breaking them. If I use a series of non eco friendly glasses on a more disposable day to day basis, then it will ensure that these can continue to serve the environment for as long as humanly possible.

Great Crystal Whiskey Glasses... Maybe A Change On The Box Might Make Things Crystal Clear
There is a bit of a problem with these...The glasses are both good quality and mine had no visible imperfections and had a pleasant ring to them when I gave them a flick. A nice star effect in the crystal reflects the light well and these will be perfect for sipping some warming whiskey on a cold winter's day.My issue then is not with the excellent glasses, but with the box they come in.The box states on top in gold lettering "R.O.C.K.S. Whiskey Chilling Stones" and when it arrived I thought Amazon had accidentally sent me the wrong item. I'd ordered whiskey glasses, but had been sent Whiskey stones! I decided to go ahead and open it anyway and sure enough, it was only the glasses inside. No granite stones to be seen. What this means is that if you were gifting it, I'm sure the recipient would also be thinking the same as me, "Oh, whiskey chilling stones.", rather than realising they were getting some glasses as a gift.So if you are willing to look past the box (if buying for yourself) or maybe pre-warn the person you are gifting, you do ultimately end up with two rather lovely crystal clear whiskey glasses.

Glasses are stunning but description on presentation box is incorrect
This is a delightful set of cut crystal whiskey glasses presented in a well-made box which makes this a perfect as gift for a special occasion. The glasses are well balanced and comfortable to hold with a good weight. They feel robust and the pattern is well cut with nice smooth lines.I couldn’t find anything inside the box stating that these glasses are the first eco-crystal glass, produced sustainably in an emission free environment. I feel the fact they are 100% recyclable is something that should be explained inside the box so that anyone receiving these glasses as a gift would be aware of its origins.I also felt the same as some other reviewers in that the information printed on the box makes you believe it contains whiskey chilling stones rather than cut crystal glasses, which is a little confusing.

Nicely presented Glasses
These make lots of claims - which we all hope are true - not a lot of info about what they do to ensure the Eco production is 100% eco but I'll take that at face value. These would make a nice gift, lovely presentation in a box and well packaged - unlike other glasses we have had from Amazon. The packaging is designed for the internet and home delivery.Other than that - they are 2 tumblers, a nice feel to them but not overly heavy in the hand, they are a delight to sip a Whisky or Rum from though and are excellent value. So a very decent pair of glasses - I'm very happy with them and on the basis that they are produced in a carbon neutral way that has to be applauded.

World’s First Eco-Friendly Crystal Whiskey Glasses, x2 315ml Tumblers
This set of two tumbler glasses arrived well packaged in a presentation box. The glasses have an attractive design and seem to be well made, they sparkle and look the part. The blurb states: “The first eco-crystal glass produced sustainably with respect for the environment. Based in Europe, our crystal glass production facility is emission free, and uses renewable energy (geothermal, biomass & solar power) to create 100% recyclable glassware.” So something that I can honestly say had not occurred to me before, but it’s nice to see them touting their sustainability. I expect there are far better quality glasses available that have an even higher price tag but I have to say I’m very pleased with these glasses, hopefully they will last a long time.

Stunning
The media could not be loaded. This stunning pair of tumble glasses look great in the office for night cap of whisky after long day doing conference calls. Come in a stunning box and looks great on my side table in my office next to my whisky decanter. The shine on the crystal when the light hits is just as eye catching. This will be great present for any working women, or man, even if just used as a statement piece of decor
