Every doctor and nutrition counselor I have asked about the bioavailability of different types of calcium sources suggest that I take supplements with calcium citrate. I have been taking Andrew’s formula and my bone density hasn’t improved but gotten a bit worse. I wish that I understood why he uses the types of calciums that he does. Im not saying that the lack of bone density is due to his product. It could be many other factors like weight bearing exercises- perhaps I need to do more of them. The reason for the “4” is that my medical professionals have suggested calcium citrate as a source for my supplements. I had no stomach upset with Andrew’s product and they were easy for me to swallow.
