If You Haven't Tried It Yet - DO IT!
Love! Super easy to use and the color is perfect! A good, all-around everyday color, to use on both upper and lower lids. I get a ton of compliments on my eyes, and it literally takes me minutes to apply. I've been using this product for several years now and I plan on continuing. I love that it doesn't smear/smudge and it lasts all day into the night. Worn with mascara, it gives a nice smokey, soft look. Gives a more natural looking eye than just wearing mascara alone. Last a long time and the price is unbeatable!

Best creamy eyeshadow hands down. Putty Matte a nice neutral shade to begin with.
First cream shadow I’ve used in years. I love it! I purchased because all of the baked, smooth powders flaked into my contacts. Goes on smoothly, zero tug, blends easily, I use my fingertip, with other shades. No creasing or settling in lines, and I’m older so some wrinkles and dry skin. All day wear, no smudging after application that I’ve noticed. Because it’s creamy, no flaking in our around the eye. Potty Matte shade is subtle enough to use all over the lid, or in the crease line with other shades. Love it so much, I bought a lighter and darker shade the next day. 10 out of 10

Love it! Beautiful color and quality.
I love it. I am makeup minimalist. Typically a little blush and mascara does it. Occasionally, I touch up on the eyes. This is perfect. It gives a little color and a little shimmer. It’s easy to use on both ends. Has a little sponge brush at one end, I use it to soften the color if I applied too much. I’d say for the most part it stays on well. I put it on in the morning and work through my 13 hour shift with it still on but does start to crease in the lids over that period of time but I think at that point it’s expected. Would totally get another color.

Eyeshadow 101 Cream-to-Powder Waterproof Shadow Stick
I wanted an eyeshadow stick that would be easy to apply and try.e to the color advertised= vanilla matte. This shadow stick delivered on both. Less is best. By that I mean when applying, use sparingly and BLEND BLEND BLEND. Layering powder over is super easy and lasts all day. It is truly Matte, no shine, no creasing. It will be a go to shadow for me.

Great eyeliner for those with oilier lids
Good long-lasting eyeliner once set. Needs eye primer but goes on smoothly and keeps color. I can only have eye liner not smudge if I use eye primer and even then results can be not great. This is one of the best eye liners I have used. My only wish is that it came in a version with a narrower point. I use a fine brush to apply the liner currently.

Received a used item! Color had unexpected glitter in it.
I didn't get to try this out because I received a used item. (And it appears I'm not the only one.) I was able to get a close look at it, and I was immediately disappointed with the color "mixture." The item I selected wouldn't have worked for me, regardless of any other issue. I've been curious about these eyeshadow sticks for a long time. I wanted to test them out years ago, but they seemed kind of pricey for my budget. I don't like to spend more than I'm used to on an item I have no certainty will work as claimed. But then my friend told me she bought a stick on discount, and it was a game changer for her. (Easy to use, easy to blend, buildable color, quick application, lasts long, looks natural, etc.) She said she bought more and suggested I at least try one. She insisted they were worth the regular price... finding one on discount was just a bonus. We're very much alike in what we look for in beauty cosmetics, so I was intrigued. I also saw there were a ton more reviews on Amazon than the last time I checked, and the majority of them seemed highly positive. So, I went for it. I felt I had the amount of guarantee I needed to justify testing this thing out. I got the sheer shimmery pink color to use as a highlighter and on the inner corner of my eyes for a brightening effect. But that's not going to happen now. After I received my used product, I took a closer look at the reviews on Amazon - mostly to see if anyone mentioned unexpected problems with the same color I ordered. Instead, I noticed there were quite a bit of people who received what appeared to be used products, too! This is highly disappointing considering this brand seemed to have made a good name for itself over the last few years. I was really excited to finally try their infamously convenient and water-resistant eyeshadow stick. You'd think they'd be more careful about the products they're sending out - especially for what they're charging. My eyeshadow stick was undoubtedly used before I received it. Box was slightly crushed with signs of having been opened. The tip of the eyeshadow was smudged and there was product smeared on the outside of the barrel. If all that wasn't proof enough, the sponge tip had makeup residue on it as if someone fully tried every part of this thing out. I can't speak for the application and wear quality of the item because I'm not willing to risk transferring potential bacteria to my eyes, face, or even the back of my hand. I can say the expectation of the product was not met, right off the bat. I can also add that I was surprised that there looked to be big chunks of glitter in the shimmery sheer pink eyeshadow and on the sponge tip. (I wasn't expecting such large specks of actual GLITTER to be in the mix. It wasn't shown on the advertised photos or explicitly stated that cheap glitter would be used. I did expect some fine mineral-like shimmer, but not cheap glitter.) I'd suggest that if you buy this product, you thoroughly inspect it upon receiving it. Having cosmetics melt or break during shipment is one thing. But being sold a used product (advertised as new) is absolutely unacceptable. Especially, when there's evidence of it be a reoccurring issue for this particular product. I'm debating whether or not I want to try ordering another color - only because my friend was raving about this eyeshadow like it was the best product she has found to date. If I do decide to take another chance, I'd likely play it safe and choose a matte shade. I can handle some amount of "shimmer," but I feel I'm a bit too old and I don't get dressed up enough to decorate my eyes with glitter. (I cannot stress enough: This was straight up large specks of GLITTER - almost like you'd find in a craft store or in young teens' cheap & trendy makeup - mixed in with an otherwise nice looking shimmery/pearlescent color.) I'm just worried I'll get another used product... or that the product was otherwise kept in unsanitary/uncertain conditions before I received it. I just don't understand how this issue could happen so often. (Search thru the product reviews for yourself and count the number of complaints. You may not find it to be excessive, but I do. It really should be more of a rare occurrence. I haven't found this many complaints of used/questionable products when researching other cosmetics I'm also interested in trying.) Also, avoid the shimmery sheer light pink color... unless you're ok with random large specks of glitter. Then maybe go for it. The overall main color appeared nice with some shimmer to it already.

Best eyeshadow that lasts all day
I really like these eyeshadow sticks! The formula glides on easily and blends beautifully*, but blend it quickly because once it sets, it DOES NOT BUDGE. (YMMV if you have oily lids.) I can put it on in the morning and it will look exactly the same at bedtime. If that wasn't great enough, it comes off easily too, with micellar water or other makeup remover. Worth the effort! Overall, I love using these much more than any powder shadow I've ever tried, even high-end brands. *I use a brush to blend. I find that works much better than the included sponge tip. I don't find the need for an eyeshadow primer with these. In fact, when I've used one, it creates a sticky/tacky texture that's harder to blend. Maybe I just haven't used the right primer, but I don't need one with these. I have 15 shades and counting. I like some better than others. I'll give my take on each one below. (I have fair skin with olive undertones, brown eyes, and dark hair.) In general, shimmer shades are medium coverage, but buildable. Matte shades are pretty full coverage, but very blendable. I tend to like the shimmer shades better than the mattes. I know conventional wisdom is that mattes are better for 'mature' skin, but I find the light-reflecting quality of the shimmers very flattering. In my opinion, the mattes can look a little stark and dusty, drawing more attention to wrinkles. - Amethyst shimmer: very pretty, cool dark purple. It lightens up when I blend it, but I think it's buildable. - Blush pink metallic: very, very sheer glittery pink. Useful as a highlighter if you like glitter, but I don't. - Cherry cola matte: lovely deep eggplant, good for outer corners. - Clay matte: a dusty pink, kind of the color of baby doll skin? Works well for a no-makeup look for lighter skin tones. - Cocoa shimmer: perfect dark brown. I use this on my outer corners most days. - Flame shimmer: a nice, warm light pinky peach. - Lilac matte: this was a poor choice on my part, lol. Too cool for my skin tone, too unnatural looking for my preference. - MInk mauve metallic: a nice medium taupe, but I kinda overlooked the 'metallic' part -- it really is shinier than a shimmer, which limits it to evening wear for me. - Mocha matte: great for outer corners. - Orchid shimmer: very pretty warm purple. - Pearl shimmer: beautiful, true to the name. Good for inner corners or as a highlighter. - Putty matte: matches my skin color but brightens it a bit. I use it for a base, to even out my veiny lids. - Red wine shimmer: very pretty ruby/russet. I use on outer corners. - Rose shimmer: I expected a dusty pink but this is more like a dark rose gold. A good transitional shade or for making a fake crease. - Sand shimmer: too glittery for me, so I returned it and ordered champagne shimmer, the next step in my quest for a neutral shimmer shade for my lids. - Smoky tawny matte: I didn't expect this to be very exciting, but it is a fantastic transitional shade for my skin tone, great for making a fake crease and lifting my saggy browbones. - Stone matte: dark grey with a hint of plum. Nice for outer corners.
