I have two siberian huskys, one loves to pull. They constantly switch sides to sniff different sides of the sidewalk during our walks. I was previously using two 6 foot leashes that constantly got tangled and were very cumbersome. I knew what I was looking for before I came across this. I picked up the neo mongrel leash, the ezydog coupler, and two ezydog mongrel leash extensions. The setup is perfect for my use. The dogs don't get tangled anymore and the leash handle has nice padding. The construction of ezydog's products are really solid. My dogs have been using ezydog harnesses for several years now. We use them to go bike-joring and they have held up great. I'd definitely recommend this.

Added to a shorter leash it will take much of the shock of your dog suddenly lunging off of your shoulder & elbow. Buy 2 if your dog is a strong jumper as the elastic wears over time and waiting for your next one to arrive after you're used to the extender is miserable (&tough on your shoulder & elbow).

the difference between slack length and tension length is probably about 1 inch, so the elastic serves the purpose only of taking the shock out of the cord. I thought I was getting something with more elastic in it. But it does help and it is sturdy. Every once in a while my dog and I take different sides of a pole and this helps not to snap the leash or really hurt us.

I ordered two of these. They work great for coupling two dogs to one leash. Plus they absorb a lot of the pull of my 90 lb boxer pup.Wish I'd ordered them years ago when my other big dogs were young.

The elastic broke after two weeks of normal use. I would have been better off using a piece of rope.

I got this so Higgs would not chew the lead - he likes to carry his leash in his mouth - and the retractable leashes are expensive. Its perfect! He can hold this and chew it if he wants, and its easy and cheap to replace. But it seems to be very sturdy so that might not even happen. And it has a little weight to it so he doesn't tug as much on his leash - more than I expected.

I bought this for my smaller dog to put at the end of the runner I keep him on at work so it wouldn't be so rough when he bounded off to the end of it (he loves to greet people when they come over to my desk!).Unfortunately, it is pretty darn heavier and certainly seems heavier than the shipping weight (though I haven't weighed it, so I could be imagining things). But in essence, this thing is longer than my dog and weighs a good chunk, so really it just kind of flops along and follows after him, even when on a shorter leash.Definitely recommended for larger dogs, not recommended for smaller breeds.

This extension was connedted to the very short handle of the EzyDog leash handle. It makes a perfect length. Since I may need to use only the handle some day (due to mobility issues may need to attach to a vest), this means a great leash for the time being and an option. I have the regular EzyDog leash and have used it for three years with another dog. It is amazing! The pull of the dog is significantly diminshed and this is great for a person with back problems. The grip handle is also a huge plus. I rec the entire set-up for anyone with problems with their back or simply want a soother walk.

Bought two of these,found that using one with the Ezydog mogrel 12" leash works better with two dogs.(Ezydog leash-extension- 2 leashes) When the dogs are pulling,it is not so hard on my arms/shoulders.However,the springy nature that makes it easier on your arms and shoulders limits having quick control of your dog.
