It's 5 feet long has good solid connectors, the metal braid is pretty tough, and it even has a Velcro loop to keep it organized. Not too shabby and the price was good. So, I like it for what it does. The only problem I have, and this is really my fault, is that I thought when I bought it it was a USB a I think it is the usual USB connector to micro I don't think it's a C… Well I'm a little confused so take that into account. :-) But the other end of it goes to phone chargers and your usual gadget charters it's the small USB one that is pretty handy anymore. What I wish though was that the manufacturer had looked a little farther ahead and made the doodad connector the new micro USB – C. That's the one that hooks up to the new iPads and iPhones, and is really better because you no longer have to locate your connector to make sure you're putting it in the right way. That one is even more general than the previous USB, I believe it carries more power and more information speedier, and products are starting to change to it. In that case I think that this cable is behind the curve. I still need a good cable to serve this purpose, because my phone is still the old USB micro, but I have cables that still go to the phones that I bought and other doodads so this one only has a purpose if another one had failed. I imagine it has more use for a gamer, or a power user who doesn't have all of his peripherals in the new micro format. Anyway it does a great job for what it's supposed to do, and it's going to last you the rest of your life. I just don't think that the current micro format is going to live until the end of this decade. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Company!! *by J***H on Reviewed in the United States on May 16, 2017* I was really excited to receive this cable. Everyone knows how fast a charging cable gets destroyed. I received it quickly and was contacted by the company quickly to make sure I was happy with the product. At the time I was, however, after about two weeks the two prongs that hold the charger in place became stuck in so the cable did not lock into the phone. It still charged my phone really well, just would fall out. I contacted the company via email. The replied within 30 minutes and sent me a label to send it back and sent me a new one via USPS (still waiting on that on to arrive it just shipped today). So then:1. The cable itself is very sturdy and well made.2. The connector was the point of failure.3. When I spoke to customer service they did not argue with me or anything. They even admitted to having seen this problem occasionally.4. Immediately offered a replacement with them covering all of the shipping.Wrap up:I am reserving final judgement untill I get to use the new cable. However, based upon customer service alone I would and do greatly recommend this company. I love companies that stand by their products and when a deficiency is seen they say "Not a problem here is a replacement" I will happily do bussiness again with SYDE and suggest that you do as well. ### ⭐⭐⭐ A sound and durable charger but only if you're stationary with it. *by C***C on Reviewed in the United States on November 3, 2017* I purchased this charger earlier this year in March, after about six months it's holding up fairly well.I read the other reviews of the micro-USB connection weakening first so I've been careful not to put any stress on it, it is starting to get worn out but it's negligible when the phone is stationary. However if I'm attempting to charge the phone with this cord while just generally using it for phone calls, playing on some apps or watching videos it cannot hold a charge, it used to work but the micro-USB connection just keeps getting worse and worse. It's almost to the point where I need to make sure the micro-USB end of the cord isn't at a certain angle so that it'll maintain its connection and continue to charge or transfer files. Again if it's stationary and not being moved around any it's not an issue.The cord itself has held up well, not a single kink, fray or anything on it.
