A great make up brush update
UPDATE: it’s been 7 months of using this brush and the bristles are falling out every day. Very disappointing and will be looking for a new brush. Would not recommend purchasing the brush. So far, I’m liking how the brush performs. I had another name brand brush and the bristles started falling out after 6 months. However it’s not that easy to clean as it is described, but nothing I can’t get used to. It does apply liquid foundation flawlessly.

Better then blender sponges!
Love this brush for my Chanel foundation. Use it to apply and blend. Works so much better than blender sponges.

Great foundation brush
I like how this handles. THe bristles are soft and it picks up the product well. If you like the look of this one go ahead and give it a try.

2nd favorite foundation brush after the Artis Oval 7.
• Style, brand and version:-Brand: Lune+Aster-Style: Foundation Brush•Overall Impression:-My favorite foundation brush of all time is the Artis Oval 7 (which is almost twice the price of this brush). My previous second favorite foundation brush (before this one, this one is now my 2nd favorite) was the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush. If you love those, you'll likely love this brush.-It's not an Artis dupe in shape, style or fiber. Artis Oval 7 does blend a bit better and give a more airbrushed finish than this brush. I don't think any brush can outperform the Artis Oval 7. However, this brush performs so well, that if you love the Artis Oval 7, you'll be highly impressed with this brush. It's not a dupe and not quite as good. But it has that ease of blending foundation in that few brushes seem to. For travel, I'd take this one over my Artis Oval 7 (or Real Techniques Expert Face Brush) and be very pleased with the results. This one is so good, I would consider just getting it over my Artis if I had to replace my brushes, and I love the Artis Oval 7-so it’s a high compliment.-If you love the Real Techniques Expert Face brush, which is excellent, you'll likely love this brush more. Before this brush the Real Techniques brush was my 2nd favorite foundation brush (1st favorite, until I tried the Artis and fell in love with it as my favorite). This brush is smaller and shaped differently. But it outperforms the Real Techniques brush in speed of blending foundation and how well it blends and with it’s shape and heavier density. Few brushes come close to even the Real Techniques brush (even in their own line of brushes, no others compare). So it's impressive to outperform it. It’s denser and the shape is better than the Real Techniques brush.-What's unique about this brush is the angled shape (see the pictures). It makes it easy to apply foundation around the contours of your face, nose and under-eye area especially. Being slightly smaller than the Real Techniques (and smaller than the Artis 7) brush it fits the under-eye area especially well. It fits the under-eye area for foundation and concealer even better than the Artis 7 (or smaller Artis Oval 4, which I normally use under the eye).-It has that same density and firmness that the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush has, except this one is a bit firmer and denser, and that's why it performs even better. It blends quicker and easier.-I'll use my Artis Oval 7 for foundation more than this brush (but this brush is a close second). But I'm going to use it over my Artis Oval 4 for under-eye concealer. This is hands down, the best brush I've ever used (Artis, Real Techniques, Trish McEvoy, ELF, etc.) for under-eye concealer application and blending. It's outstanding. What the Artis Oval 7 is for foundation, this is for concealer. The Artis Oval 4 is smaller (and I'll still use for spot concealing on my nose or a blemish as it's smaller) but the shape on this one and angle make it far outperform the Artis Oval 4, which is impressive.-I highly recommend this brush for concealer under the eye. It outperforms even the Artis Oval 4. It could also be a good option if you love the Artis Oval 7. I still prefer the Artis Oval 7 to this brush for foundation, but this is a close second. If you love the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush (which was my previous 2nd favorite before this brush), you'll likely love this brush even more, it outperforms it.• What’s Included:-1 brush• Size:-shorter handle, almost a travel sized handle•Uses:-Foundation (liquid, cream or powder)-Concealer (especially under the eye)-Under eye setting powder• Pros-what I liked and what worked well:-It outperforms for foundation the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush, and is a close second (but doesn't quite outperform) the Artis Oval 7. It’s the 2nd best foundation brush I’ve ever used (Artis 7 is first).-It outperforms all the Real Techniques concealer brushes (I have most of the main line of them) and the Artis Oval 4 for under eye concealer. It’s the best concealer brush I’ve ever used by far.-It works well for concealer under the eye, nose and spot concealing.-Soft, dense bristles.-Vegan, synthetic bristles.-Has a unique angle that makes it work better than most brushes for foundation and concealer, especially under the eyes and in the corners and crevices of the face.-Short handled. It's a thicker handle with a flat base and it can stand up by itself.-Doesn't shed during use, during washing or after washing.-Washes and dries very well.-Heavy duty handle.• Cons-what I didn’t like and what didn’t work well:-It wasn't a big issue, and washing resolved it completely, but it did have a mild, slightly unpleasant scent at first. As soon as I washed it and let it dry, the scent was completely gone. So if you notice this, it goes away after washing. I didn't use fragranced soap or do anything but a gentle normal wash. I can't smell it at all after washing it. I think it may have been from the carton vs the brush itself.• Tips & Thoughts:-This brush (as does the Artis and Real Techniques brushes) works particularly well when you use a makeup palette to dispense a bit of foundation and apply it from the palette. It works well on makeup already applied (with a dabber from the bottle) to your face.-Wayne Goss and Tati on YouTube both share the tip I love and use. Mix 1 drop of plain, pure jojoba oil with any foundation (you won't need more than 1 drop) on a makeup palette. It won't make it oily or greasy, just spread into your skin and less dry. It transforms foundations that are more dry or difficult to blend.
