This elevated cat bowl stand set is the second one I've purchased from Sunhoo. My first one was made last year, and it has made a positive difference for my sweet cat, which in turn makes me happy with it. My baby is very large (Siberian), and leaning down to drink water was so very uncomfortable for him that he used to lie down in front of the water to drink it--to bring his head more level with the bowl. The elevation and the mild tilt of the raised tray has made it so much easier for him to enjoy his water. He also makes much less of a mess while eating his food when it's set in this tilted tray.I only put water in the ceramic bowls, and I use shallower silicone bowls that I already owned for his wet food, which quite nicely rests in the tray opening.Now about the aesthetics:The ceramic bowls have a beautiful, gleaming, glazed coating. They are easy to hand wash, but also hold up very well in the top rack of the dishwasher.I prefer the striped grain of the wood of my first purchase. I inadvertently bought the new one without the two-color grain. A bit disappointed. Nevertheless, since I've already put it together, washed out the bowls and set it out for my baby to dine, I don't intend to return/exchange it unless I discover some defect over the next 30 days. I sincerely hope that, when they made this model of the stand, the surface of the wood was sealed as well as the first one.The two-color tray wipes off easily, hasn't lost any of its luster, and shows no hint of water staining. I expect the quality of the new one (the plain color) to be identical. IF this turns out to be the case, I still would highly recommend this cat tray. It also is incredibly simple to put together.I noticed a few people claiming that the water spills out of the bowls. Actually, it doesn't need to happen, if you think through the process. Place the bowl into the recess *before* you pour in the water. This allows you to see how much water is shifting to the front edge, so you can easily avoid overpouring. If the bowl were any deeper than it already is, it would defeat the entire purpose of the raised tray--the bowl would be lower to the ground.Some people might perceive this as an extravagant expenditure for a cat, and thus would never buy one. But the elevated cat tray and bowls truly make it easier for the cat to drink, chew and swallow their food without gagging, and they can digest it better if it's chewed better. So, it would honestly make a lovely surprise gift for a dear friend or other loved one, who perhaps cannot afford it or see for themselves the utility of it.

Before having this, there was always bits of food laying around his food bowl. Now, there is rarely food outside his bowl. The height is perfect for him. Very easy fast assembly. Sturdy and looks good

I really these new food bowls! I have 3 cats & was worried they all wouldn't take to this new way of eating. But Sissy(pictured)who's the fearless leader, went right to it and seemed really excited about it! So then Pippin and Pickles followed suit & ate enthusiastically. They love it, and i love how it matches my decor perfectly.🥰 also, I could tell when putting it together that it seems very sturdy. The bowls are nice & deep, but the tilt makes it easy to reach bottom without squishing their meowstaches. If my opinion changes I'll update, but so far I gives this a hard 10/10! 😸👍

This is a well made product, well packaged and it took 60 seconds to set up. The only thing that would make it better is if the bowls were wider and much shallower. This would enable cats to eat with no whisker distress. The deep bowls make it difficult for cats to eat comfortably.

I’ve used this for 2 years now and my cats love it! The height is ease for cats to eat without bending down too much! Easy to clean, real sturdy, easy to assemble

The cat food and water bowl is really cute and I like the color of the wood. The bowls are tilted a bit to make it easier for your cat to eat and drink. Nice product!

My cat wasn't into drinking water from his regular water bowl, but now he drinks so much water from this tilted dish. He also stopped sticking his paw in the water. There's something to the tilted dish my cat prefers and it's the perfect height for my medium sized cat. The bowls are a ceramic/glass-like material and there's no plastic anywhere on this dish! It's great for small spaces and looks nice. It's lightweight and the wood is easy to clean.

Anyone who has cats, knows that it is always a toss-up as to whether they will use a new item or not. He used it the very first time. YAY My only wish, is that the bowls weren't as deep as they are. But it's a nice solid item, easy to put together and functions well.

It was a bit of a gamble buying online, but the bowl set is actually quite nice. I was surprised at the good quality, nice frame, nice sturdy ceramic bowls and easy to assemble. It is the right height for house cats. I wanted to try the elevated style for my one cat that over-eats and gets sick - this seems to lessen this quite a bit. Both our cats like the stand/bowls just fine.

Every easy to assemble. Easy to clean and the cat seems to like it. I really like it.

very cute! the food bowl holds a lot, though because of the angle the water bowl can't quite fit enough, it's enough space for water but my pets can be finicky and now prefer to drink out of a different bowl but that's ok, it keeps the area it's in a lot cleaner (better than the assorted containers I had for their food/to keep them elevated) looks sure cute, and holds more food than the previous bowl did

They say it's best for your cats tummy to elevate their food. this is awesome!
