GR100 Grill for Kicker 10" Round Subwoofers

This is the second guard I bought. You can see the first one now covering my amp 🤣 plastic feels pretty good. Metal inserts in the screw points are nice. It's more of a graphite black semigloss.

Hey it is what it says it is, a custom fit grill that protects your kicker sub from crap flying around the trunk of your car. Yes it's plastic like the other reviewer said, but aren't they all pretty muck these days? I wouldn't call it cheap plastic either as in it doesn't flex when you push something into, which is what you want. It sits about an inch an a half maybe two away from the sub box once installed which give your woofer plenty of room to move if you're so inclined to push it that far? Overall I'm quite satisfied with it. My only real beef with it it that kicker doesn't supply the screws with it? Yes you can use the existing ones, but they wont sit flush with the grill as the screw heads are tapered etc. So a minus one star for that!

I like the look of the guard and it will protect from larger objects puncturing the woofer. Smaller ski poles or other sharp objects could get through - but I knew that going in.

They are just like I remember but made of hard plastic instead of metal. Because of the shape they are still solid and durable and keep the speakers safe which is the whole point. Plus they look cool also. I cant wait to get the matching one for my 12 that sits between the two 10s. System hits and now it looks good and is safe from damage when I have to move things in my suv. Overall, I recommend them to anyone with kicker 10s. I'll be reviewing the one for the 12 when it arrives tomorrow or the next day. Hope it works as well.

I love this thing. Fits perfect! Looks really nice compared to the generic brands. Protects the way I need it to.

It looks great, it didnt really help protect anything. (as if it needed to be protected, for the sub has a pretty sturdy cone.) However, i had to take it off because i heard something rattling in the box, it was the screws that it came with, and when i put it back on (to my own fault) i screwed the grill on a little too much and the gaskets in the grill came out and got stuck in my sub. So long story short, it looks good, doesnt last long though.
