Worked a treat.
I was a bit apprehensive about using this, being a bit computer illiterate. I followed the instructions and it was so easy to use . Great job as all the files were transferred to my new computer without a problem. Good piece of software which l would recommend.

Good product.
Had some problems getting it to work but their support were great. I gave them access to both laptops and they resolved the issue. They were very patient and really helpful.

Rubbish
Just didn't work for me at all, and the 24/7 free telephone support does not exist - spent total of 3 hours on hold to UK number. Rubbish! POld fashioned Windows Easy Transfer worked much better.

Does not transfer software or apps
It's fine if it's files but you need the Pro version to transfer apps and software. Made the mistake of not reading it properly so wasted my money. Had used it so couldn't return it 😱

Good quaity but unnecessary for me
Was informed you need this cable if you are using Laplink to move from your old computer to a Windows 8.1. In the event I needed to use the free helpline and the technician had me use just an ordinary Cat5 cable. So although this cable is top quality I didn't in fact need it.

Personally I had no joy using this at all
Personally I had no joy using this at all. I was trying to transfer documents and photos from xp to windows 7 and in the end gave up and used a USB stick.

Transpires that it only transfers files and not applications. Can upgrade to include apps for another $35 but I'm now a little gunshy and looking at other products that are a little more up front with the information.

Produit certainement excellent pour le transfert des fichiers, mais la version express livrée avec le produit ne transfert pas les applications, il faut acheter pour cela la version professionnelle, d'où un produit plus cher. Je ne l'ai pas gardé.

THIS IS ONLY THE CABLE. IT DOES NOT INCLUDE THE NECESSARY SOFTWARE TO TRANSFER FILES. As far as the cable goes, it is great. It appears to be a 6 ft. CAT 5 ethernet male-to-male cable. I do not know if the cable has any specific configuration that a normal CAT 5 cable would not have.

Ive used their products in the past....this time it failed, their tech support told me their solution was to use a potable hard drive to move files. I returned it
