Menโs shampoo
Great Shampoo for Fuller-Looking Hair I really like the Hims Thickening Shampoo. It has a good texture, lathers nicely, and has a fresh, clean smell. My hair feels clean and looks fuller after using it. The bottle has a good amount of product, so you get a decent quantity for the price. I also like that you can choose a set with two shampoos or mix it up with a shampoo and conditioner, which makes it easy to pick what works best for your hair routine.

Head that smells good and looks good
Iโve bought this shampoo for my husband and my son, who both are going through some sheddings. They told me after the shampoo, the hair feels thicker, and have more strength in it. They also mention the shampoo smells great and it cleans well too. They both liked it and this was my second purchase.

Great shampoo
Wanted to have my husband use a good Shampoo vs the bodywash shampoo combo he has been. This definitely reduced the shed, left his hair soft and clean. Scent is very nice. Great value for money.

Most definetly worked for me.
This is a good purchase. I have several shampoos that I was experimenting with and this one makes my thinning hair appear and feel the fullest. The results are very noticeable when looking in the mirror or running my fingers thru my hair. For 2 bottles itโs a very good deal in my opinion. Considering the prices of any shampoo at a cvs or Walgreens and this one is a great deal that does what itโs supposed too. Will be buying again

Good Shampoo
I like this shampoo. It will not help with hair growth, but it makes thinning hair look fuller. It also has a decent scent.

Oily hair
Seems to help. My hair is thicker, cleaner, fluffier. I have super oily hair and it really helps with that

It Provides a Lot of Body if You Have Thin Hair
I've tried a number of shampoos which say they provide extra body for those with thin hair, and this product is the best I have tried. It's cost is more effective than some other products I have used as well. I'm going to stick with Hims.

Mixed Feelings About This - not gonna lie - Just not for me
Totally giving my own personal review here, and not throwing any shade or stones about this product, because I know it could completely be my experience of this product on my personal head of hair; it might work amazingly well for 99 other people and then for me it could just be my hair type, but it could be a total waste of time or money for me ton use this; everyone's hair and body chemistry is different, so just for me to be 100% honest about this shampoo, I don't hate it, but I don't love it. I'm a guy with medium length thinner hair, especially in the front and hairline areas so I'm always out to try anything to help me keep it growing and keep it looking fuller. The shampoo is supposed to contain saw palmetto which is supposed to help slightly with blocking DHT so there's a chance it can help with the struggle to keep hair growing for us guys who are thinning. What initially sold me on giving this a try was that so many users had said you only had to use it two or three times a week, NOT every day, and that only a small amount was needed for each use, so a small bottle would last a long time this way, and so far that's been true of the shampoo, so I won't complain about it. My only gripe is that it does dry out my hair, and I've always had softer, shinier, mostly healthy looking hair that can easily become oily. I normally have to wash my hair at least once a day to keep it feeling clean of any extra oil, but this shampoo leaves my hair feeling like dried out straw, so naturally I'd want to use their conditioner with it... Well this was the only real con I ran into... the Hims conditioner, because you'd naturally be likely to think that if the shampoo helped with hair growth or DHT blocking, the conditioner would also, and actually it does not according to the response I got after finally thinking to "ask Google" after I'd bought and used the conditioner for two months lol - please don't laugh! Google says the conditioner is designed to support healthier, fuller-looking hair with ingredients like niacinamide and panthenol, but it does not contain ingredients that are known to directly block DHT... so that was a disappointment given what a small bottle of this costs. The quality of the conditioner leaves me in the middle as well, because it doesn't do the best job for my hair, and it could totally just be MY HAIR, because of course I know that every person's hair is totally different. But for me, even after leaving it on my hair for 2-3 minutes. it's still leaving my hair feeling somewhat dried out, and still tangled, but I don't leave it on longer than this because too much longer and it will leave my hair feeling oiled down after drying. All in all I've spent about $75 on Hims shampoos and conditioners and when I'm done with them, I'll probably not go back for buying it again. Each bottle has cost about $13 each and for less than that I can get 28 ounce bottles with pumps of my preferred brand biotin based shampoo and conditioner that I've been using for years, and it has worked superbly well for my hair type and style. I'm not sure if I can list the brand name or if it will be taken out, but the brand I prefer is called Renpure, and the biotin shampoo is awesome, truly makes my hair thicker and more alive, and the conditioner is excellent and light weight, and i can rinse after about 60 seconds and actually comb my wet hair tangle free after just that amount of time - so for the hims brand shampoo I'll probably keep using it 2-3 times per week just for any extra perks it can give my hair, and then when its gone, I'll wait and see if my hair has gained any dramatic improvements and maybe if yes, I'll buy some more shampoo, but if not, I'll consider it a loss and keep using what has been faithfully working for me thus far. I'm absolutely not pushing my preferred brand here, but just being totally honest about what has successfully worked for me to get GOOD LOOKING hair. It's never claimed to help regrow any hair, but it does help me minimize breakages and shedding, and it does help me to style my hair very easily, and so I can't help but recommend others to check it out just to see if they have as much luck with it as I have had. Totally personal experiences here, honest review, no paid endorsements or shameful product plugs, just basing the review on what I've seen over the past three months of shampoo use, and two months of use with the conditioner. Thanks for reading and I hope it helps you decide... and I wish you all the best of luck and success if you're struggling with thinning hair as I do, because I do totally get it! If you discover the secret to solving the problem besides telling me to shave my head, be sure to share that secret with me some day lol. Have a good one! UPDATE: Today's 5/8/26, and my original review was 12/10/25: I'm back after five months to give my updated opinion about my experience. To be 100% honest, It's a NO for me. I've continued to use the shampoo at least twice a week for months, but I never seen new changes to my hair except for the dryness I'd already complained about. As far as using this possibly once a week on the basis of just a cleanser to wash away any extra DHT or oily buildup from my scalp, maybe, possibly I'd say yes to be fair, but overall I just wasn't impressed enough to continue using 2 to 3 times per week in the hopes that I'd see new hair growth, because that just did not happen for me. For my daily shampoo and conditioner I will continue to stand by the brand I've been using for years, the 28oz Renpure Biotin and Collage shampoo and conditioner; each bottle is huge, comes with a pump, and lasts a VERY long time, and I do use the conditioner two or three times a week only, and only a half pump to one full pump at most to avoid too much conditioning, my hair does great with it as long as I don't leave it on for more than one or two minutes, but I've consistently had great results using the shampoo on a daily basis, so I can't help but suggest both to anyone who might want to give them a try. Each 28oz bottle is only about eight bucks, so for $16 you can get both and that's going to last you 2-3 months if you're the only one using it, and I'd almost bet you money you'll be happy with the fuller/thicker looking healthier head of hair you get after using it. And one other thing I'd note about the Renpure is that it truly must be pretty rich in biotin because it seems to make my finger nails grow super fast just from daily shampooing. I don't do or use anything else on my nails other than hand soap or dish soap, so it could only be the shampoo that's making them grow faster... Anyhoo, that's all from me on this product. I truly wanted to love it and had the highest hopes that since it was a big name product that I'd be lucky enough to share in the success stories that go along with it, but alas it was not for me. Thank you for taking the time to read all my ramblings! Hope you have a great rest of your day!
