Met my expectations!!

The connecter on the radio end is not two pieces to screw onto the radio. You either have to turn the radio or deal with turning the long cord. You are not able to stick the cord in and thread it on. Poor design.The antenna end fell apart on the first trip and that was even after putting electrical tape on it to hold the black plastic cover.The mounting bracket is very thin metal. Can’t give it zero stars.I missed my return window because it was in my Jeep so I forgot about it until getting ready for another run. My Jeep is not my daily driver.

Measured SWR on test fixture using NanoVNA was over 6:1 at 144 MHz. Same antenna (Comet CA-2x4SR/NMO) at same location with a different mag mount measured 1.2:1 at 144, so must be something wrong with the product I received. Overall quality seemed ok for the money, and SWR was below 2:1 at UHF (which is still bad for a mount). Not recommended, especially for transmitting.

a very nice antenna mount/support. HIGH quality material construction throughout; even the bracket appears thickly nickel/chrome (?) plated. I added a piece of fabric between the bracket and car paint - so as not to mar the car finish. `seems to work FINE. I'm happy ...
