Perfect for finicky senior pup!
We’ve got a 14 year old mutt (I say that with love) who is the BIGGEST PAIN when it comes to taking pills - no matter how far down his throat you get it, he’ll find a way to spit it up. Hide it in food? He’ll eat around it. Some meds I can grind up and hide in a teaspoon of cat food, but not the strong tasting ones.Enter these pill pockets. They’re malleable* and in the shape of a tube - you stick the pill in there, pinch the ends together so it’s completely encased, and pretend it’s a treat! I was skeptical that this would work on our pill-avoidant pupper, very much expecting him to spit the pill out - NOPE, he ate it pill and all! Even for the nasty tasting medications - the taste must be strong enough to mask those potent meds. It’s been a month and not one single pill has been spat out, none the less detected, and our dog continues to love these “treats” - so they get five stars from me!(*if you find the pill pockets too stiff or dry, just toss it in the microwave for a few seconds and they soften right up! THANK YOU to the other reviewer who gave that tip!)

10/10
I like them because they’re easy and not messy. My dogs like them, and don’t find them hard to chew. My almost 14 year old shih Tzu is missing teeth and still doesn’t have a hard time chewing them. Also the most affordable on the market so we really appreciate that since we buy a pack every week.

OK, but tough
Our dog seems to like the flavor of them. Our dog is very picky and these only work for the tablets we cut in half. He will not take them if we put capsule medication inside of them (he just bites it and spits out the meds). They are a bit tough to use as they are harder than I anticipated, I use the handle end of a butter knife to push them close. As for the size, if you put a capsule in them they will not close. Would love to see 2 size options like some other brands. I did not have any issues with the quality and texture of them (they were not crumbling apart or smooshed).

Great dog pill cover
Help with giving medicine to the dog. They don’t stick together like some of the other brands and don’t come all broken up like other brands. Easy to use as you just stuff the pill in there and squeeze the edges to keep it from coming out

Makes Pill Time a Breeze for My Furry Friend
This product has been exactly what I needed for my dog. Love that it's wheat-free, so it's great for my pup's sensitive stomach. The soft chews are perfect, easy for my dog to eat. The pack of 30 is a decent amount and it's made right here in the USA. The built-in tube is super convenient, love that feature. The mouth-watering, chicken flavor makes pill time fun, not to mention that it's vet recommended. Also, they double as training treats which is a bonus! Overall, an excellent product.

Too firm to mold
These pill treats are a lot harder (firm) than other pill treats. It’s hard to pinch the ends together to keep a smaller pill in. I certainly can’t tear it in half to use for small pills. My dog took it like he liked it but they’re not easy to use so I won’t buy again.

Didn't work, but found my solution
My dog wasn't enthusiastic about them, she would eat it but leave the pill after a minute of curiosity and tasting. I'm saving my money now by putting the pill in peanut butter, with the technique of the pill encased first, followed right away by letting her lick more from my fingers. She doesn't know there was even a pill, she just gets greedy for more peanut butter. BTW, even wrapping peanut butter around the product with the pill didn't work.

works but not my preferred
I ordered for my dog that hates pills. They work I can hide he pill and she will eat it. Only problem is they are not as moist as I thought and I have to make sure they are closed really tight . I even added the bag into a ziplock to hold the moisture and keep them from flaking more .
