A: It doesn't use batteries, it is powered by the OBD-II port when it is plugged in.

A: It give you the code and short narrative of the code.

**Q: will it work on nissan p11 if yes will it show rpm and such**
A: It will work on the P11.  The P11's OBD-II port is directly above the gas pedal.  It will not show RPM.

**Q: will this work with on 2002 Subaru Outback sedan?**
A: Yes it should work fine on any vehicle made past 1996 they are all equipped with obd2.
