After my much loved feeder (a tray with no step up for the birds) broke I wasn't sure if they would like this style but they had no problem adopting it as their new feeder. There are squirrels that come for food as well and it held the weight of a big grey, they do sit inside the bowls to eat with no damage/bending to the bowls.My only gripe based on where you live and weather wise (we have short summers not much time for baths) it would have been nice if it came with two mesh bowls and a bonus plastic as a bird bath. when it rains the plastic bowl is useless for food. In colder weather I have watched them fight over the mesh side for food not sure if it is easier to grip under their feet.It installed easy enough the top nut gets loose and moves but it is not hard to adjust when you go out to clean the bowls.

I thoroughly enjoy the product thus far and so do the birds. Unfortunately there is a dent in the bird seed tray and a crack in the plastic bird bath so it has a slow leak. I think this occurred during shipping and doesn’t have anything to do with the product itself. It attached to my balcony railing easily and the birds find it very accessible thus far. If larger birds (pigeons or crows) land on it to take the feed the feeder does bend a little under their weight. It could be a little more sturdy for larger birds if they happen to use it.

Like that is does both water bath and feeder easy to fix to deck but smaller than I though at first...Fast shipping
