Now, I know quilts. I have been lucky to have been born into a family that had women who prided themselves on making them & also have experience w/ buying some from the Amish & while this quilt isn’t to be held up to those standards, it is actually well made. I like the reverse, a green calico print, & was able to fluff it up by putting it in the washer on the “hand wash” option w/ a honkin’ amount of fabric softener & fluff drying it. I’m warning future buyers of ANY quilt that if you dare wash it on a regular cycle & dry it w/ high heat; bad things will happen! The cotton fabric is not thick & isn’t made to withstand the pummeling of a typical machine washing cycle. However, knowing these things & the difference in quality of handmade (which will cost you between $300-$1000 for a full/queen size) vs. mass produced, this quilt is cute & worth adding to your bedding if you enjoy the pattern & understand how to care for it. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Runs small, not true to size - returned *by B***T on February 17, 2018* I ordered the Full/Queen size for my Queen bed. It was way too small and didn't come close to covering my mattress. Granted, I have a new 14" thick mattress, but I don't think it would have adequately covered a thinner Queen mattress either. Might work for a Full, if it's not a newer, thicker mattress. It was noticeably smaller than my old quilt which was also a Full/Queen and had the same advertised measurements. Fortunately Amazon was great about returning it for a refund. Also, according to the manufacturer care recommendations, machine wash on the gentle cycle and air dry - so this is NOT recommended to go in a machine drier. The quilt was very cute, seemed to be good quality, and Amazon was great about returning which is why I'm still giving it 3 stars. I really wish it would have fit and also been able to go in a machine drier. If you don't mind air drying after you wash it, make sure you size up and order a King if you have a Queen size bed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Loving my kitty quilt. *by A***R on September 24, 2013* Cute quilt, well made. Order a size up though. I have a queen size bed and I ordered the king size quilt. It fits perfectly. With the different colored cats, you can change the look of the room with different colored throw rugs and pillows. Cold wash gentle cycle and tumble dry low.
