While not necessary for the Building Block waffle maker, these plates make it easier to stack the blocks and build structures. They wash up easily in the dishwasher it in the sink and store well vertically. The company is also good to work with. There was a discrepancy with my order and they fixed things quickly.

I don't understand why most people are so upset; it clearly says it's for the plates only and NOT the actual waffle machine. I think they are great! A lot bigger than I thought. I can't wait to use then when I get the waffle maker.

Perfect addition to the LEGO waffle iron. It was enjoyed by the whole family ... bother Adults and kids. Waffle iron can also be used with ginger bread mix for Christmas ginger bread houses. Perfect any time of the day and for fun with visiting friends. You are never to old for LEGO.

These plates are an awesome idea. I was able to make waffles in the shape of building bricks with a special waffle maker and then build things on these plates.

My 2 boys (7 and 4) LOVED building on these plates with their building brick waffles. Very sturdy and great quality. Will be buying another set for when cousins visit!
