Zefal Bicycle Leather Toe Straps, 370mm

Leather is nice and thick. Was difficult to insert through pedals, but got it eventually. Leather takes time to break in and soften up. Clamps are nice and secure. If you're wearing old school cleats with these, never tuck the strap through the second hole or you might be in serious trouble if you suddenly need to stop during an emergency.

These are the classic Zefal leather Christophe straps that have been on so many bikes through the years. Pull the strap to tighten, pull up on the buckle to loosen. My old ones wore out, so will these, but they are exactly what you would expect. They look great with the other components I bought here on Amazon: Origin8 Pro Track Light Pedals Soma Oppy X Toe Clips White S/M Everyone falls once or twice getting used to toe clips with straps, but unless you are going to go with expensive clip-less pedals and shoes, this is a great way to get the push/pull pedaling technique in your game.

Bought these to replace nylon straps on my clip pedals. I ride daily so they get quite a bit of use. The look great and have lasted longer that the old straps which frayed only after the first couple of weeks to the point where they were about to break. These seem to be much more durable, better looking, and hold their shape better which makes it easier for me to insert my foot into the clip/pedal (the old mylon straps were too flimsy and constantly droppped making it hard to insert my foot) . For the price, the look, and performance, you can't beat these. I highly recommed them.

I have an older 80s bike that I ride and my baby was needing some TLC. I love the vintage look and these were perfect for my bike and easy to install. A little stiff when riding but nothing a little lube cant fix. If you're not use to narrow toe straps, be warned these will give you some trouble, but I personally love them. Will buy these again
