The program had the opposite effect. I spent so much effort trying to get the program to do its job, I could not "get words on paper." Finally, yesterday, I gave up and removed all Nuance files from my computer. I found a better way (for me) to write. I use Microsoft Word to type at my own speed, not worrying about misspellings (because that would slow me down.) Then, when I've finished my thoughts for that session, I use spell-check to come up with a well-written piece. Voila! Easier and far faster than Dragon NaturallySpeaking. **Q: Does this software work for transcribing meetings live or from an audio recording - or will it only transcribe one voice?** A: Depends on your expectations. Unless punctuation is spoken ("period...new para") the spoken words will be "run on". However, this can be corrected manually when completed. Will transcribe multiple voices although I believe it "trains itself" over time to work best with primary user. If users announce themselves ("new paragraph. I was suggest that you uninstall the program with the uninstall or from the website and reinstall and remember only start the program from one instance I start on Windows 8.1 from the start screen, not the desktop and give the program time to really start don't start pushing the button over and over expecting it to speed things up. Let the program started its own time. Everyone's in a hurry and that hurry will give you a problem. These are just my observations and problems. I've solved in this manner.
