Fell in love when I unpacked this set! The embossing is well done, the finish is very nice. And the design iseven nicer in person. Seem sturdy, not too heavy, can be dressed up but will work for casual service too. The solid feel of stoneware but more like nice china. The composition of this set (no mugs, pasta bowls instead) is perfect. Bought a 2nd set for service for 8. (And cleaned out the cupboard of 20 years of mismatched plates and bowls!)

I ordered this dinnerware set, Elama EL-Countess Double Bowl Stoneware Dinnerware Set, 16 Piece, Ivory on February 4th and got it today, Thursday February 6th! I actually ordered 2 sets. The boxes came so well packed there was no way anything could have arrived broken! I am very pleased! They are in the dishwasher right now & I can't wait to put them in the cabinet & use them tomorrow! They are beautiful!

Happy with purchase. Only four stars because there are some minor manufacturing defects. Which I was aware may be an issue before purchasing due to comments from other reviewers. Otherwise, very nice set.

Yep, some of the glazing is a wee bit off. The dishes are very pretty and I'm happy with them.

These dishes are exactly the color and style that I was looking for. The kind that can be used daily, and can also be dressed up for a special occasion. However, the manufacturing and glazing process has a lot of mistakes. The biggest disappointment is that the dinner and salad plates are warped and rippled in many places- very uneven when sitting and stacking. They also show a glazing line down the middle of most of the dinner plates. Some of the bowls are uneven on the edges too, but is less noticeable. The company was quick to respond to my concern, and sent out replacements for 6 of the plates and 4 of the salad plates. However, those items had many flaws as well, just like the other sets. It's too bad, because they really are the medium weight and style that I wanted! Family members have told me that they are very pretty, aside from the noticeable flaws from manufacturing. I have not rated the durability, because I haven't used them yet. I was trying to decide if I was going to keep them. The answer is yes, if the manufacturer works with me on a solution. Note: I know that there are some dishes that are on the market right now that are designed to be this way. These are not- it's a flaw.

This is a great set—can be dressed up or casual. Neutral color with beautiful designs makes it go with everything. And I love that it comes with two different types of bowls!
