3MDurapore Surgical Tape, 2" (Box of 6 Rolls)

Loses tackiness and turns loose after a few hours. I have to keep an injury covered on my little dog and thought this tape would work. Alas, it does not. Within an hour or two the tape starts to turn loose and my dogs bandage begins to slide down her leg. I can’t have this as she has drain tubes in her leg that need to stay covered so the gauze can capture the fluid. If Indont check regularly when using this tape her bandage slides down and the tubes and wound are exposed. I will have to go back to the cloth style tape made by Johnson and Johnson that my vet uses. That stuff won’t come off unless I cut it off.

I had surgery on my back last year and this type of tape was the only tape that would stay secure for a whole day without losing it's hold. Even during the summer when I would sweat a lot it would hold almost the whole day. It does leave a residue that you need to scrub off afterwards but it's worth it to not need to change the tape and bandage several times a day. This was the only place I could find it, my local stores do not carry it.

3m always puts out good products this tape is more of that. Decent quality and durability. The company shipped fast in a well protected box. The prices fluctuates but I was lucky and caught it at the right time. Much better then some of the other medical tape I've seen on amazon.

I use this on hubby to cover his biliary drain bandage. Holds securely until I use alcohol to remove from underneath. I try not to get alcohol on top as adhesive separates from ribbon backing. We really like this tape as it’s beefy and clothing slides over it without catching as bad as some other tapes.

We checked the local drug store - they don't carry this tape. We couldn't find it anywhere until I came to Amazon. The best thing about this tape is that it is easy to remove and doesn't take the skin with it! The box was crushed by the time it arrived but otherwise everything was fine.
