Very well made, comfortable to hold, and cuts very well.

Overall, it works nicely for lots of jobs. Had to order a second one for myself as I up and gifted the first one. I think with a little practice, I could even learn to skin critters with it. Think it could stand to be some thicker/heavier but perhaps not ? Mine both came ready to use plenty "servicely" sharp, Not foolishly "razor" sharp (advertising hype) didn't get it to shave with. Seems to hold edge good so far. First Ulu style tool for me, wanted to try one for long time. To me it is some similar to short, light cleaver with curved blade and changed leverage and balance. Fun to use and still learning/experimenting. I have many knives, all have different purpose. The Ulu may prove to be more multi-purpose than some. Seems to be a good enough product for what it cost.

This is my second ulu--or pizza cutter, if you'd prefer. My first one was my favorite knife, but it was a lot more decorative, and the handle is getting loose, so I figured I'd get this as a spare. This has ended up being one of the best knives I've bought. Ulus are extremely useful knives, great for chopping vegetables, cutting pizza, trimming meat, whatever. This one is a very heavy-duty (and surprisingly heavy) knife that has worked very well for whatever chore I've used it for. It's also got a very comfortable rubber handle, so it's easy to use. Overall, very pleased with this buy.

This is a decent knife for $12.00. The handle fits a guys larger hands, but the part that goes down from the handle toward the blade bites into the fingers a little--not a major problem. Others said it was really sharp when they got it; mine must have been the exception. I could actually run my thumb along the edge with little fear of being cut. Despite the rather dull edge, it did cut carrots, celery, lettuce, and semi-frozen chicken pretty well. I'll be sharping mine soon--it should be better then. Over all, not really unhappy with the knife--it cost $12 and you can't expect a razor for that! Will be interesting to see how it takes and holds an edge.

This cutter was originally purchased so my kids could work on cutting their own food in a safe manner! Not only is it sharp enough, it's larger than I envisioned. My kids ages 4 and 6 use it almost daily to cut up their own foods! It's comfortable to use, easy to wash and does what it needs to! I also love that it has a blade cover, it makes storing it without damaging the blade easier.
