Tried a BUNCH of extruder sets - best so far
I tried a bunch of the lower priced sets (or better value sets). This is better than any of them. The extruder with the screw on attachments is awesome...even the tiny little strips come out great. If used with play doh brand (which tends to be softer than the other brands I've tried) it was super easy for my 4yo to use. With some other brands she had to be a bit more determined...or not fill the thing to brim...but it still worked great. My 9yo even loved playing with it.

Great family fun!
Bought this for my first real visit with grandson who will be 3 in August. He was introduced to playdough earlier, these tools were just the activity to give us a together family project. Every family member was enjoying the tools, who doesn’t love playdough?! The tools are high quality, sturdy and it is a real thought out kit. The scissors were easy for little fingers. The syringes and press need a bit more pressure but still workable. And the plastic carrying/ storage case is also quality. This was a purchase I’d recommend with no reservations. Worth $!!!

“Go To” Play Dough Set!!! Great gift, too!
Great quality and heavier weight plastic than actual “brand” PlayDough toys. THE SCISSORS ARE AWESOME!!! Best scissors I’ve seen!!! As always you have to watch how much pressure kids put on the lever extruder because they’re famous for cracking at various points on ANY brand’s version, but overall it’s pretty sturdy as these things go. The small pump extruders are fun, but they require a ton of pressure to push to go through… And to get you to be hard for an adult to Sam’s pricing… And those tips can pop off under that pressure. Overall I’d recommend it and it’s a good set. There are no perfect Plato toys in the world but I think he’s the last.

Learn and play
This is a great set of play dough tools. With supervision works great with 2 &3 years old. The scissors are good for older children and are stronger that what I have seen in other play dough kits. The slides for the extruder are good but children 2-4 need some help to attach them. The extruder was the item I was looking for to play with young grandkids. The syringes are great too. Good variety of play dough tools that are great learn and Play.

Super fun!
I wanted scissors that weren’t going to damage anything important. This play dough set is awesome! My kids love to push these through the parts and cut and build. They are easy to clean out if play dough gets left and hardens. My 4 year old has no problem fitting the pieces together to make different shapes and designs. My 2 year old needs a little extra help but she still loves to play with them.

Great kit!
My almost 2 year old loves this kit! My husband and I also have fun with it. The syringe things are so fun-- yes if your playdoh is not fresh it does get a little harder to push through. But otherwise great. The scissors work really well and are sturdy. Great for our daughter to practice cutting! We have hours of fun with this kit.

I bought this for my almost 3 year old. I wanted to buy just one set of tools for his play dough and this has a good variety. My must have was the scissors to help strengthen his fine motor skills. They work great and my son enjoys cutting up the playdough that he has squeezed through the other tools. I think the only thing I wish the set had was a rolling pin, but we are very satisfied with this product so far.

fun but not the best design
My toddler loves playing with this, but the extruders are too difficult for her to use on her own and almost hard for an adult to push. the hand press is great, but play dough does get stuck everywhere in lots of nooks and crannies that are too small to get in with your finger to clean out. the scissors are great to start training how to cut, but finger holes are a bit on the large size, a bit too big for little hands.
