Amazing for reef (marine) aquariums
The media could not be loaded. I bought this to make pure water for my saltwater marine reef tank as corals are super sensitive (and expensive) and I strictly needed ZERO TDS water, not 1, not 2, etc. but 0.I purchased the 5 stage system with the pump and honestly no regrets. I watched a video of how to install it while waiting for the delivery and gave a quick read to the (really great!!) Instruction paper as well and it was child's play to put it all together. I flushed the first 3 stages as instructed and after that when I hooked up the last 2 stages it pretty much immediately went to zero TDS and since then I already produced a 100 litres of clean pure water for my aquarium water change and top up. That is a really good indicator of how good this system is as mine is set up outside in 7-8 °C and my water pressure isn't particularly great either.Previously I bought a unit from somewhere else for half the price but it was only giving me headache and an unacceptable value of 30 TDS output. So I am very happy with this product from iSpring and I still have a bunch of bits and parts leftover as spare should I do something more complicated with this system in the future. Initially I was worried as some reviews mentioned bad leaks and poor build quality but they must have gotten really unlucky or didn't follow the instructions. Me who came from owning a cheaper unit, I have to say that this iSpring product is very robust and solid. Build quality is perfect for what it is, so don't worry about those few bad reviews. The only criticism I could give is that the pipes provided are quite short since these are intended to be used under your sink but I needed longer ones to reach to different spots outside but these pipes are dirt cheap so I'll take this downside.
